Cocaine, An Escort, and XS NightSwim Drama, A Trip Report by matt1983

Prologue: This was my third trip to Las Vegas in 2016, after Super Bowl Sunday, and a two day trip in July. This trip wasn’t going to happen, but I procrastinated about asking for time off for my July trip, and didn’t get all the days I wanted. However, I was able to procure a couple of days off in August to give myself a belated birthday trip. The trips from February and July really aren’t worth writing about as nothing important happened on those trips.
The trip took place from Friday August 19 through Monday August 22. That was the weekend of McGregor-Diaz II.

Yes, everything I mention in the title shows up in the story at one point or another. The title is a bit of a tease, but it’s not false advertising.

At least you seem 100% open about your trip reports. As Wild and crazy as mine are... they're like the PG-13 version of all that takes place. Some minor details are left out lol.

            Friday and Saturday:
Honestly, not a lot happened on these two days. I’m going to skim these two so I can move on to the events in the title of the thread.

Friday: Flew into town, and had a corner suite at Vdara for the weekend. Love the corner suites at this hotel. There’s a full refrigerator, and plenty of room to move around. That night was Skrillex at XS with a bunch of people from the site I didn’t know, and while the night was fun, I’m always nervous around new people. I left during Skrillex’s set. One thing from that night that was cool was that when we got to the table entrance, Noah came up and immediately talked to me. This was only the third weekend I had been in groups he’s worked with, so color me surprised that he recognized me. Props to Noah.

Saturday: Skipped the day clubs because I wasn’t feeling 100%, and had lunch at Serendipitdy 3, which is now the Stripside Cafe and Bar after the restaurant’s operator, Rowen Siebel was found guilty of tax evasion. Just as I type this, I find out it’s also been closed down, and will become Gordon Ramsey Hell’s Kitchen. I had the Chicken Caesar Salad, which was enough for two people, and added a brownie sundae. By the time it arrived, the ice cream had mostly melted, so it looked like three brownie s in a pile of muck.

Anyways, that night was McGregor-Diaz II, and I went and watched it at Beer Park at Paris. I’d say it’s a great place to catch a game, or a fight; the food was good, and the beer was cold. I can also remember the bartender closest to me complaining about how business was about to crash for the night when everyone leaves after the main event. I’ll bet it did.

I ended up going to Marquee that night, but only stayed a while. Weirdest part of the night was that a lady who looked like Jennifer Lawrence came up to me and said I looked like Ray Manzarek from The Doors. (I kind of see a resemblance, but not really.) She also got me to pose with her and her friends, and then they walked off, leaving me bewildered. If I was faster on my feet I would’ve said something like, “come on baby, light my fire?”

So that was the first two days. Sunday is when things get fun.

Next: The title of this report occurs.

Now that the forum seems to be operational again, I'll have the last part of my story after I return home from my current Vegas adventure. Sadly the one I'm on now pales in comparison to the ones I've written about. This 2017 trip ended up as a bit of a downer, since I'm not social enough to roll solo in Vegas yet.

                Day 3:
I wake up Sunday, refreshed and ready for the day ahead. I head over to the Wicked Spoon for Sunday Brunch, and it’s quite crowded, but I’m in no rush. If you’re making your first trip to Vegas, do take time to go here at some point, you won’t be disappointed. Now that I think about it, that day was the final day of the 2016 Olympics. As I was eating brunch: Durant, Draymond, and Klay were cruising past Serbia to win another gold medal for the United States.

After brunch, I headed back to Vdara to exercise, and start texting to see who wanted to go to XS NightSwim. While that was going on, I went over to Yolo’s for dinner. It’s a Mexican place at Planet Hollywood, and the food is really good. It was quiet when I went there, but one of the bartenders recognized me from when I had been there in February. One other funny thing that happened is that while I was watching SummerSlam on my phone, one of the bartenders initially thought I was watching gay porn. I just smiled and laughed because pro wrestling does look like gay porn a lot of the time.

It was after dinner that I received a text from “Golfer,” as he was at TopGolf when he sent the text. He was thinking that he might miss his flight if he didn’t get his act together. Around 9:18pm Golfer texts everybody that he has missed his flight, and is coming back to put a split together for the night. The split isn’t terribly expensive, and I head out to Encore around 9:45pm. While waiting near the table entrance to XS, I meet “L,” and we go over to one of the bars near the entrance to drink and wait for Golfer to show up. While waiting, L is impressed by my downing a screwdriver in about 2.5 seconds. I was a little anxious, waiting on Golfer, you see.

So Golfer shows up and we buy some orange juice to mix with the alcohol in his room; while we wait for two Canadians to show up. Golfer’s room at Encore is really nice, with a view of EBC. We break out the liquor, and Golfer pulls out a thin glass vial from his bag, and dumps the contents onto the table. It’s a white powder, and I say in my head, “"that must be cocaine."” There’'s really only enough for two lines, so I bow out by telling the guys about my kidney transplant. I was diagnosed at age 20 with end stage renal failure, and received a kidney from my dad five months after the diagnosis. He’s doing great, by the way. Due to the transplant, I really need to stay away from drugs, and I have. Alcohol is fine, as long as I don’t become dehydrated. Thankfully, L and Golfer are cool with me not doing any lines.

After a while, the Canadians arrive. I’ll refer to them as Canadian #1, and Canadian #2. Canadian #2 turned out to be a deuce, but I’ll get to that in a moment. They said that they had talked to two women who were staying at The Venetian, and were willing to pay their share. Unfortunately, they never answered the Canadians texts, and never showed. That meant there were only five of us to pay for the table. While this increased everybody’s split, it still wasn’t too bad. So Deuce decides that the split is too high, and doesn’t want to pay it. He says he’ll only go as high as half of what his split would be. After trying to reason with him, I speak up and say that if he pays his half, I’ll pay the rest of his split. I wanted that table. Everybody is cool with this, and we head downstairs to get the money, and head in. I also mentioned to the group a little about my troubles with women, and said I was looking to get laid that night.

While in the table line, a man tried to run away, and was caught and dragged by security. I wasn’t paying attention when it initially happened, but L said he was wearing a hat, and didn’t want to take it off. That’s a really dumb move. He must’ve been hiding drugs under the hat. Ah, stupidity in Vegas. So Golfer is working with Bobby tonight,(or I think that's his name; muscled white guy with a shaved head, and I've seen him before at some clubs) and he and Bobby get into an argument over the table because Golfer wasn'’t going to pay Bobby a handshake. Bobby eventually relents, and lets us in, but part of me wanted to hand over another hundred I had on me to smooth things over, and get us in.

We had a table in the area just outside at XS, to the left of the DJ booth. Kaskade was playing that night, and I really enjoy his music. We were at the table close to 1:00am, and it was crazy. The pool was completely full, or close to it, and people were everywhere. We order our drinks, flavored vodka, and start getting in the swing of things. It’s not long after this that Deuce starts to have problems. I guess he had already been drinking before he got to Encore, and he was in a bad way at the table. I spent time babysitting him, just to make sure he wasn’t kicked out. He even threw up underneath the table at one point. It was yellow.

After a while, Golfer, L, and I make a sweep of the inside of the club, but don’t find any women to bring back to the table. We do find a curvy, white woman in a tan bikini working one of the poles inside the club. I regretted not bringing any singles. Later on, I saw her and a muscular dude at the edge of the water, having a contest to see who was more flexible. I think they attempted to have sex after that, with a crowd around them. Obviously, it was broken up by club staff before it got out of hand. I swear that’s what it looked like. It was after this that I notice that my plain black t-shirt is missing. I left it at the table, and it was gone not five minutes later. Amazing. If your wondering where my stuff was, well, it was in a locked, waterproof case that I had hanging off my wrist the whole time. It’s sold by Otterbox, and it’s made for white water rafters, but it works great for pool, and events like NightSwim.

So, it’s a quarter to four, and I start dancing with this nice looking brunette, but she walks away from the table. I attempt to bring her back, politely, but she’s not interested. I text Canadian #1 to come back to try to bring her back, since he brought her to the table in the first place. He texts back, “Dawg she’s working man.” I think he actually made it back to the table before the text, to tell me the exact same thing. He then tells me he’ll try to get her to drop her rate. He manages to convince her to drop it to almost half of what she was asking, and after a minute of talking to her, we were off.

Leaving the club wasn’t the easiest, since I didn’t have a shirt. Thankfully, the escort was staying at Encore, so they let us walk back into the casino. I wore a towel in the casino, and got the money to pay her, and we went back to my hotel because I’d rather have her perform the walk of shame than me.

I left Monday evening, ending my most successful Las Vegas trip. Fun times.

NIIIICE!!!! I don't even know Duece and I hate him. And Golfer needs to show Bobby some more respect; if it's the Bobby I'm thinking of that works with us here on the forums, the man is a legend
