  • Tipping Security?

    Hi Guys,

Hitting town from 24th to 29th Aug

So bottle service is booked across the weekend. Min Spend plus tax and tip understood. We're using direct hosts so will agree shakes.

Question is do we also need to tip security , busser etc or is that included in the above ?

If so what would be appropriate ? Most places were looking at 2k min spends.

    Cheers and love to all!

You should throw them a little something. They tend to be more lenient if people in your group get too drunk, escort to bathrooms and just generally look after you more. Bussers work the hardest there so I always recommend at least a $20 -- i've also had people tip them and ask if a table clears and leave any waters or redbulls if they could bring them over to theirs.

Word to the wise... Tip security good! $20 to the busser is enough... but Security is sensational. They make your life easier when needing to go to the bathroom bringing girls etc. At EBC this year i neeeded to take a phone call... gave him $$$ he took me up to a private bungalow that wasnt being used quiet and was able to take teh call without going out of the club... They are worth their weight. Also he bought me sunscreen too.

+1 to all the advice thus far. While everyone gets a little something from the larger tip pool, there's no question that a $20 will go a long way with both your barback/runner and especially your security; if it's a particularly crazy day/night and security is really on the ball and helping you in multiple ways, I'll hit them up with multiple $20s throughout [and sometimes it's a couple different guys rotating] up to and including a $50 at the end of the day/night for outstanding service. Definitely they can put your experience over the top and have to put up with a lot of "shitshow" behavior.

Vegas was built on taking care of people so I agree with everyone and recommend taking care of the bussers and security. The bussers bust their ass all night and are very appreciative of any tips you give them. Also, its always nice to take care of security. You never know when you will be needing them...

I agree- $20 tips on arrival and a handful throughout the night will go a long way.
Last year at Wet some dude walking by grabbed some food off our day bed and our runner was all over him, made him come back, apologize, buy us a new platter or he was gonna toss him. Needless to say we took care of him.

Everyone is different EnglishGent. I would go with a $50 to start... i usually give them $100 at the start and then another $100 at the end... but thats me... and they look after evertyone at my table taking them to the bathroom etc... they know the more the tip the better perks you get

My friends always tip $50 to security and bussers to start, then $10-20 to security and $5-10 to the busser about every hour, with another $50 to each at the end. It goes a long way. If you read my TRs, because of how well they take care of them I've had security come and save me from weird places, walk me to the washroom and skip the line and other things lol. It's good to take care of those that take care of you.

I always tip security! At the start of the evening around $40-50, depending on how many we have with us. They'll definitely look out for you throughout the night! They will help bounce the bottle rats and working girls away from your table (unless that's what you're looking for), escort to restrooms, etc...

Bussers as well. Those guys work hard!

So XS assigned a guard on me during my last trip for Friday and Sunday... Fuckers... (Means I'm a troublemaker according to my friend). I tipped him $100 when I got there, and give him a couple hundred more throughout the night. He made sure the ledges to my upper DF table were clear unless they were my girls. Also prevented any guy or girl from walking into my table unless I said it was okay. He would walk me to the bathroom even though I said it was okay. Told me that management told him not to let me go anywhere alone. Him and another guard escorted me back to my room at Encore. I'm not sure how much I ended up tipping by the end of the night, but had to have been a good amount. At Nightswim... I straight up had soft porn with a girl and we were at DB1, out in the open. My guard was a foot away from me and let me do whatever I want haha.

As for Omnia... my guard not only took me to the private bathroom, but he also walked me and my group out all the way to the party bus outside.

Tip them. They become your best friends.
