Saw it last night...it was wicked funny! The humor was consistent throughout, story was good, and I loved the scenes of Vegas. Everyone that we went with loved it and the theater was jam packed with constant laughter. I actually want to see it again in the theater, which I usually don't care to do. I just loved all the guys in it, they were so funny together. Zach Galfanakis (sp?) just killed every scene he was in...it's an instant classic.

I saw it last night, too. Classic stuff. Made me miss Vegas even more.

No it's a comedy that just came out in the theaters on Friday. It's from the guy who did Old School. It's about a group of guys that go to Vegas for a bachelor party. They wake up the next day to find that they've lost the groom and have to back track what they did the night before. All sorts of shananigans ensue.

Oh, well, you pretty much have to try to not have fun in vegas...I mean it's near impossible. I still had a pretty good first trip, luckily that was only one night and I learned an important lesson-don't get falling down drunk when you are with another falling down drunk and are just 2 girls-so it all worked out.
I'm with you, so many things can happen and if there's nothing you can do about it, just don't worry.
Another little story. We went with another couple-very good friends-last mar 08. The girl and I were winning like crazy at craps. For us, we were up several hundred. Well, on our third day there, she took out her wallet in downtown (afternoon) to give a homeless person some money. Well, walked back into the golden nugget, wallet gone. We couldn't find it, she lost about 6-800 bucks, all her CCs, etc. She cried, but within 2 hours-after calling all the CC companies- we were playing craps again at MGM and having a blast. The next day was even more fun bc it was st pattys day. She was pissed, but dealt with it and didn't complain, and still ended up having an awesome time.
Another lesson...don't take your wallet out for anything! :)

I give it TWO frekin Thumbs UP!! And yes it's true, I was in Vegas about a week ago, and I wanna go back again!! I'm planning a November-December time frame trip. I think I almost got thrown out of the theater cause I was laughing so hard, and I even laughed at parts nobody thought was funny. And you got to stay for the credits, Its probably the best part!!

And in traditional Vegas fashion, I used a coupon to get into the movie, (the first weekend at that) and found out between 4-6 they got this other special, so me and my wife so a first run movie @ 5pm for $5!! but dam it, in Vegas fashion again, they got me on the large popcorn, $6.50 :( LMAO .... but the movie was worth it! Go see it, and then you can test the theory or bs, .. Can you make it from LA to Vegas in 3 hours driving? I think not ...

Thats what happens when you watch that movie high hahaha

Nope, just the pictures, but they complete the movie, and NO I was cold stone sober when i watched the movie, If i was wasted, dude, I know i'd be kicked out for sure. Oh and Mike Tyson, I nominate him for a frekin oscar! He was awsome, when he punched that guy out, even though i saw it on the previews, I pulled a muscle laughing!! (In the air tonight, is probably my all time fav Phil Collins song)

But, I think "The Hangover" is much more believable, better written and better acted.

i started watching it last night at home, but fell asleep. check out joox.net. they usuallly have all movies a couple of days after they come out. check under the movies section. the copy that's on there isnt to bad. i'll finish it tonight and if it's as funny as everyone says, i'll go back and see it in the movies..

Same director - Todd Miller. Interestingly, he played the guy in the elevator who was eating the girl out. The one who said, 'we're going up, fellas."

This was the same character he used in Old School who showed up at Luke Wilson's door and said, "I'm here for the gang bang."

Hahahaha, I liked it, but there were parts where I thought it could have been funnier if they did another take? IE. Asian guy, I think they either should have added more of that or taken out some. Just overall it was pretty funny. The brother in law was the best part by far.

Check out Out Cold if you get a chance. It's a snowboarding comedy film that he's in, filmed in Canada but supposedly taking place in Alaska, you'd probably get the humor and he is absolutely hilarious in it. There is definitely a part where a Polar Bear goes down on him. Priceless.

And now I know for sure that I just added two guys to my wolfpack. Four of us wolves, running around the desert together in Las Vegas looking for strippers and cocaine. So tonight, I make a toast.

Totally is! I have to say, for the most part, if its funny, I'm not too hard to please. I appreciate great humor (witty/clever), raunchy/dirty, slapstick, all of it, from the 70s on up....

I'm just so glad the R rated comedy is back on a consistent basis. There were several yrs where there might be one good comedy a year if that. Now there are several a year!

I agree with royaleo. I like Hangover better. Superbad was great, but it was like a raunchier American Pie. Hangover was newer, fresher, and the way they did the movie was just great. Freaking hilarious.
