Just returned from 5 incredible days & nights in sin city and I never thought that I'd be saying this but I'm totally partied out. Let me start by saying that this was my first solo trip out. I was a bit worried at first that I wouldn't have all that good of a time. "Wrong", this was one of my best trips ever. It's very easy to meet people and even easier to meet people to hang out and party with.
While in town I managed to hit XS, Pure, Ghost Bar, Lavo, Tabu, Jet, LAX and Studio 54. I was on the guest list for others, but there just wasn't enough time to hit them all. By making my own conatcts and my own phone calls, I got on every guest list I wanted to. All the doormen where awsome and I breezed right in. Forget those dime a dozen free passes that they give out on every street corner or those VIP Host Middle guys, pickup the phone, make your own calls and get yourself on the guest list and in free. I had an awsome time at every club I went to and even with most of the packed to max, it wasn't all that hard to get drinks.
Being a club jock and music lover myself, I was looking forward to hearing some of best jocks in Vegas mix their trax. All but one were very impressive and had it going on. The music was great eveywhere I went with the exception of LAX. I enjoyed everything about that club except the music. Not sure who spins on wednesday nights, but his music mix is horrible. He falls into extended hip hop ruts that he refuses to get out of. The room had much more energy when he'd get above 120 BPM, but for one reason of another, he kept pounding the rap. And why is every word out of this guy's mouth, "F***". All I heard all night was, "Get Your F***ing Hands Up" or "Get Your F***ing Drinks Up". Dude needs to shut up or get some new material.
The ladies as always were smokin' at every club. Again, very easy to approach and to get them on the dance floor. Only a handful of guys wearing those stupid sun glasses inside. Guess most are reading the do's and don't's on this site, thank god. Over all, a fantastic time and looking forward to returning in a few months.
