Where's a good place to dine for 2 on the strip that doesn't cost an arm+leg? Like a place with quality food, but not haute cuisine prices. Or maybe some great deals for lunch at fine dining restaurants?

I liked Spago last time I went. Did the tix4tonight and dinner very good and very cheap considering the quality.

thanks in advance!

I love BLT Burger at the Mirage. It's quick, easy and a great price. The burgers are $12-15... somewhere in that range. Walk by and take a look inside. Great spot for a light dinner or lunch.

Also check out Restaurants.com you can get great coupons at many places in Vegas. We're considering getting one for RM Seafood @ Mandalay.

Tacos & Tequila is also a fun places... good food... shots. I think most of the meals are $15 - $20 ... not too bad. The drinks add up like aways.

I'm not sure if fast food is what you mean, though everyone else is suggesting it! If you're talking you and the missus, try Mon Ami Gabi at Paris. Breakfast and lunch prices are fair. I also thought the food at Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY was surprisingly good, and fair priced. Both places have outdoor seating too. Also The Coffee Shop at TI has a great breakfast.

Do you like sushi? RA is pretty good at the Fashion Mall and they have happy hour from 3-7 on drinks.

There's Irish food and Nine Fine... and bar / pub food. Went there once... it's ok... won't break the bank.

Depends where you are staying and when you mean cheap I am thinking medium price and not Subway or McDonalds. If that is the case, I like Raos at Caesars for italian. The Palace Station Oyster Bar is awesome. I also like Le Burger in Paris, BLT at Mirage and Diablos in front of Monte Carlo.

They say it's Irish anyway! Someone on Yelp called it Disneyland's version of an Irish pub, which fit the bill (but the food's still not bad.) I had fish n chips and she had a pot pie with a side of fancy mac n cheese.

Also a friend told me Yolo's in PH had good mexican food (Yelp responses range from great to ok). And we're going to try The Grand Wok in MGM Grand when we come back this month, someone here recommended it for price and quality.

I personally think 9 Irishmen is over rated & over priced for the small amount of food you get. I think you get more food @ ESPN Zone (also @ NYNY) for your $.
Grand Luxe cafe in Venetian & Pallazo was great ton's of food. 1 entree can easily feed 2 ppl.

I didn't go to ESPN zone... while I admit the other dinners we ate out there last time were at much swankier places, 9 Fine Irishmen was by far the cheapest dinner we had. I think we spent about $60, compared to over $100 at Japonais and Bradley Ogden.

i horribly biased against ESPN zone, since last time I ordered a mojito there they used lemon and ruined the entire drink.

I agree with gmjoe on the burger place between Mandalay and Luxor. My wife and I split a burger there a few years ago and it was one of the best I've ever had.

This last trip we ate at one more to add to the affordable dining list - Yolo's at PH. Our dinner bill, although just two entree's was $33! We both had mahi-mahi tacos which very good, and the complimentary chips and salsa were good too (especially at the great price of free).

Hash House inside Imperial Palace - http://www.hashhouseagogo.com/

This place is GREAT - and very easy on the wallet. I dont remember much stuff costing more than $15. Its been featured on the food network a few times. Take your camera to take pictures when they bring out your food and a backpack to take home the leftovers.

Burger Joint for drunk food inside Flamingo - when we were there they had $2 burger and Fries and $5 steak and eggs from midnight to 6am. I had a milkshake there too and it was excellent.

Cheesecake factory - located inside the Forum Shops in Ceasars Palace - I think you cant ever go wrong with this place, the menu is huge, prices reasonable and portions huge too. They had the same prices as the Cheesecake Factory Ive been to in KC.

If there was an In & Out on the strip.....that would be my choice....but since it isn;t..... I will second the vote for Burger Bar !

Grand Lux Cafe... No problem finding a good meal under 20 bucks... My last trip I ate at the LUX 6 out of 12 meals...

Grand Luxe Cafe is great... but they have one here in Chicago that I go to quite often. If I run out of options late night then I guess I'll go but I'd have to be exhausted of all other choices.

Off the Strip Jersey Mikes Subs... Ellis Island; the restaurant is bigger then the casino it's supposed to be in.

On the Strip...

Hash House, Il Fornaio, BLT Burger, Earl of Sandwich, Pinks, Grand Lux, Burger Bar, Le Burger Brassiere, WitchCraft and Canters or Carnegie Deli.

On a serious note though, if you want cheap and efficient and aren't looking to spend big, go to the little food area by Harrah's (there's a chipotle, panda express, and mcdonalds). That's if you're trying to grab a quick bite and nothing fancy of course.

Or if you want quality dining without the price, I know some of the older hotels usually have specials or cheaper pricing.

Grand Lux! It is basically the same as Cheesecake Factory. Good sized portions for affordable prices...
