Let me start off by saying we went to Vegas for our friends’ hockey tournament. It will sound like there are a lot of guys with us all the time, but we’re really not whores. Thanks.

Night one-Thursday. “Nicole, you’re only responsibility this weekend is not getting roofied.”

The 4 of us girls roll in around 7ish. Head to the room, open the Captain and the Vodka bottles, and start to get ready for the night. I think our plan was to stay slightly casual (jeans/cute tops) and head out to the strip, maybe hit up Voodoo. Or friend Nicole was a Vegas Virgin, so I figured it would be a good night to wander around.

We get ready and head down to the Circle bar to meet the guys. Apparently one of them has some contact from a previous trip and gets us a table at Jet +3 bottles (more on this later) for $100. Not to hot on the idea of Jet, but hey, we needed to dance, and it sounded cheap. Especially with 8-10 guys with us. So we end up at Jet.

Oh, lemme tell you about the cab ride. It was a propane fueled cab, complete with a leak. It REEKED of rotten eggs the whole ride!!! I was terrified we would smell like that when we got out. I can’t believe no one threw up.

So, Jet was OK. We had a table on the dance floor, right in front of a stripper pole. The whole 3 bottle thing was weird. I think the guy got the 3 bottles, and then invited everyone he knew, because there were all kinds of weird people sharing bottles. Needless to say our group dusted the one he handed us immediately. I vaguely remember them wanting to charge us $450 for another one and us laughing hysterically. It wasn’t even a brand of Vodka I’d ever heard of before. So we dance, get bored, and head back to the Hard Rock. Grab some food @ Lucky 7’s, and head to bed.

Friday. “Were they cute 14 year olds, or was I just really drunk?”

We get up, go down to the convenience store and grab some OJ for the 3 bottles of champagne Veronica brought. Multiple mimosas, and a little coffee later, we head down to Lucky 7’s for breakfast with the boys.

The first hockey game is at 1:30, so we head over there to do our job as Superfan and the Super Posse. We get there a little too early, so we head to the bar next door, which is shaped like a castle. WIN! The bartender makes us these shots called panty droppers. Ok, he made us like 3 of them. Also a win! So we're now ready for the game. Let me explain this a bit. Our guy friends all play on an ice hockey team called the Honda Wings. Honda cuz some of the guys work there, and they sponsor them. Wings cuz, well, that’s the Honda logo. Us girls even have our own snazzy Honda shirts specifically for this game. We are making friends everywhere we go because in the hotel everyone is baffled that we all have matching Honda shirts and can’t figure out why, and at the ice rink they can’t believe that our team actually has devoted fans as amazing as us… Needless to say, we’re pretty popular.

So we get a little drunk at the hockey game, and in the parking lot party afterwards. The zamboni dumps the ice it scrapes up out in the parking lot, so we get into a massive snowball fight with a couple of 14 year olds on their way home from school. We lost, I have a bruise the size of a grapefruit on my ribs.

Ummmmm, after that we head back to the HR and hit the pool. It wasn’t too windy anymore, and it was late enough that we actually found seats. Grabbed a couple buckets of beers and chilled for a bit. Went back to the room, got ready for dinner across the street at this sushi place called Kaizen. It wasn’t too shabby, but I was insanely hungover at this point from the day of drinking, so I was kind of whatever about it.

No plan for the night. We’re on the list at Tryst (default option) and also the Palms clubs. Well, we get super dressed up and end up staying at the Circle Bar all night. It was a blast. We sat around watching the guys get attacked by prostitutes, and laughed all night.

Saturday “Gene, party of 19”

We have to get up relatively early for a 10:30 hockey game. Our Starbucks cups quickly turn into screwdriver cups and we’re on our way. Another win for the Honda Wings, and we’re back in the parking lot drunk by 11:45. We have a fantastic lunch of pizza delivered to the parking lot and eaten on a tailgate (we were so hungry, it was amazing!!!).

Back to the hotel to change then head out to the strip so Nicole can see some Vegas. We wander from PH over to Caesars and back over to Harrah’s. We laughed a little at Pete Rose signing autographs in the sports memorabilia store in the Forum Shops. Nicole pounded her 1/3 yard of fruity boozie smoothie, and we’re all a little worn out at this time. Back to the hotel for some pool action. Tons of douchebags doing the white guy dance for attention. Love it! Laughed my ass off.

Catch a quick nap, then off to another hockey game at 7. Win # 3! 20 of us all go to dinner at Battista’s Hole in the Wall. YUM!!! Free table wine with dinner, I’m sold!! The food was fantastic. We ordered a ton of random stuff and just passed the plates around.

We’ve got a table at Wasted Space to catch 51Fifty, so back to the hotel to get ready for that. We FINALLY get there around 12:30 and catch the end of a set. I’m freaking out because I REALLY wanted to see them and I thought I missed the whole damn thing. Well, they come back for another set and it was amazing. I’m officially a fan! One of the guys we’re with knows Corey @ Wasted Space really well, so we end up with 4 bottles of vodka (one goose, three sky) for $450!! Doesn’t get much better than that. We dance our asses off, get the bottle whoring cougars tossed from the table for spilling on us, and close down the club. We hang at the circle bar for a bit, then call it a night.

Sunday “Where’s their defense??? I think they left it at Wasted Space last night…”

Championship game is at 9:45. FML. 3 hours of sleep and we’re up, packed, and rocking last night’s makeup like it’s nobody’s business. More booze to make the shakes go away, bagels, and we’re off to the game.

The guys are clearly hungover, and it’s 3 to 1 after the first period. Ugh. They can barely stay on their feet long enough to score. I did not drag my ass out of bed for this shitty hockey!! Well, two quick goals to tie it up, and the other team completely gives up. We hand them a 10-3 ass whooping and take home the gold!!

We thought we were going to end up at Rehab via the Corey hookup, but it was so freaking cold and windy, we just called it a day and headed home after the game.

And that, my friends, is how I prepared for AOD.

Sounds like you prepared the right way!

Avon-Didn't make it to Skybar. It was closed for some corporate thing when I went by on Friday, and never made it there on Saturday. Fail.

Aria- OMG, you have no idea the gems we were spouting all weekend long. We actually kept a list on an iphone of all the effed up quotes we said. Turned out to be a page and a half long and freaking HILARIOUS at the end of the weekend. Highly recommended for all trips from here on out.
