I thought I'd start contributing to this site a bit after my second trip to Lost Wages... We flew in from Miami to Vegas Weds morning and checked in at the Grand. It included Myself, the wife, my boy Lou and his Fiancee Annie. Lets do a day by day breakdown...

Day 1 Wednesday
Checked in at 11am after a smooth but long flight. Gave up our bags at the bell desk and hit the buffet. Buffet was pretty good with some variety but no crabs... Post-lunch, we hit the streets and NYNY for a frozen drink. Walked around MGM/MonteCarlo/NYNY for a bit then returned to the room. We had 2 separate rooms on 26th floor (did the $20 trick but no suite upgrade... did get a high floor good location and option for West Wing room but declined). Relaxed for a bit then broke open the Green Label bottle for a few drinks. The night was quickly approaching and we hit Dicks for some food/drinks/ and laughs. Thats what we got thanks to our bartender Scott! He made love to a manequinn like no other... good times! We were there for a quick hour then hit the Hypnosis show at the Trop. I found it pretty funny but overall it was just ok. Tix were inexpensive and most well known shows were all bought up so this worked out well.

My buddy Lou started falling out after the show (didnt sleep but an hr nite before) so we headed back to MGM at 11pm and agreed to chill for an hr so he could nap. Well when he called me in an hr I was falling out (I also slept an hr nite before) so we scratched Wasted Space. Not exactly the perfect start to a trip BUT its a long 5 days of partying and if one day was to be sacrificed it was tonite.

Day 2 coming...

WTF?? You didn't go out the first night? I hope you made up for it!!

and then some.... we even said if anyone said the word "sleep" or any variation of it, they would be struck violently by the others in the group! It worked. I will try to type day 2 and 3 later tonite

We got up early since no partying the night before and hit up Hash House at Imperial Palace... wow that was awesome. Then on to some walking around mid strip and downtown to show my boy Lou and Annie some of the town (first timers). After gambling and shopping we headed back to the MGM (w/ some fresh cigars to celebrate my 30th at midnite... oh yes). Caught the Lance Burton show and headed to Tao for dinner and party after. Dinner was fantastic along with the martinis (as expected). Then I called our host and he met up with us and walked us in. Awesome dude and got a great table near the dance floor but in the hallway (under girls in the tub...). Even got hooked up with a freebie Malibu. We slipped him a nice tip especially since he was our host at Wet and Rok later that week. Our waitress, busboy, and security were on point and we partied til like 4something. Best table service of all time (waitress hung out w us, made shots, drinks,etc and busboy even drank w us). The club was packed and between the drinks, cigars, and our ladies... it was a birthday nite to remember. The group of Kansas guys in the table next to us were visited by tens of bottle whores thru the nite and walked out with just one (skankiest one...made for much comedy including one of the guys telling us he was gonna "double bag" his package). Our host later came back and hung with us for a while... very cool dude. Stumbled our way on out and back to MGM around 5am and to sleep at sunrise. We downed a bottle of Ketel One and Malibu between the 4 of us and a few others that worked there way thru...

Tao was awesome and definitely a place to return to.

What hallway is this???? The only hallway I can think of with the tub girls, is in between the main room and opium room. So Im confused as to what dance floor you were close to?

We were next to stairs that take u up half a level to another vip area. There was only 2 tables where we were but it was a good spot for us.

i believe we were in moat 2... that diagram is a bit confusing but pretty sure it was moat 2. Not a bad spot eh?

We awoke a bit late on Friday around noon and decided to meet up at Wich'craft for a quick bite then some rays at the pool. Well, when we get near the pool we were detoured by a hotel worker as some construction was going on and she asked where we were going. We replied the pool and she looked confused... She asked Wet Republic and we said no thats tomorrow. She says "I would go today and tomorrow" and that was our cue. So we did general admission to Wet for a few hours (free thru Prima Card...great perks by the way) and chilled poolside, drank and danced. We left a bit early since we didnt wanna get burned and have to return tomorrow for several hours. The place was about 70% packed with a good crowd and music. I was now really looking forward to having our daybed in the saturday pandemonium! Back to the room to hit up Craftsteak for dinner.

We arrived at CS about 730pm and had an amazing dinner. We chose the wagyu tasting menu and it was amazing. The chef just starts sending all kinds of stuff to you thats way more than u can eat. Took some pics and jumped in our limo (also free thru Prima) and off to Bellagio to see O. If you havent seen it do it. Best show in Vegas.

After the show we hit up Tom our host and inquire about different places to party and he makes us an offer we couldnt refuse so we head to Rok and party in a HUGE vip on the dance floor. We had our own bouncer and room for more than 10. We were only 4. Good times were had and it was a good crowd overall. We stumbled on out of there around 3 or 4am and back to MGM. Not sure if I gambled after or not... things were hazy after the clubs but I did gamble drunk sometimes.

Friday was my birthday and a success...

people really go to rok? they should update their website! they have galleries from memorial day 09 on there, i really dont know if id go there if they offered me a few free bottles, but glad you had a good time

nyc, the crowd at Rok was ok and the music was pretty good. Thx for adding you wouldnt go if it was free but we had a blast. We had the best area in the house and for a 1 bottle min that we got at a good deal it was worth it.

Well, we dragged ourselves outta bed around 11am with no food and got our gang together for Wet Republic. We finally get there at 1230 and our host Tom greets us at the door. We start doing our paperwork with the front door mgr for our f/b min and he says, "its really busy today so we have to bump up your min to 1k or give you a daybed in the 3rd row". This was not what Tom and I agreed on so I said that was not gonna work and Tom agreed to speak to another mgr and keep our min at what was originally quoted. I appreciated our host not letting us get the shaft or a bad spot and in fact we got one of the best spots there(front row daybed by the bungalows). We were walked in by Tom and intro'd to our waitress who took good care of us the rest of the day. We decided that for a pool day we would do tropical drinks and ordered a bottle of Bacardi Dragonberry and the bartender made us a special fruity concoction to go with it along with the typical mixers. This concoction was like a pineapple punch that was the shizzzzzit. We also ordered some munchies for lunch and so the day started. When we got there it was about 40% capacity id say and i thought it was kinda full. By 4pm the place was CRAZZZZZY. Fully loaded. On a drunken trip to the restroom (those are fun), i see someone walking past me that looks familiar wearing some big ass sunglasses and like a ladies sundress/robe thing. I say "hey Paris" and sure enuff I was right. She turns and looks at me the only way Paris could with a cocky stare and I laughed. I had trouble getting back to the daybed since we were surrounded by scantly clad ladies dancing like the world was ending. We downed a few pitchers of misc margaritas, frozens, and mojitos and snapped a ton of pics and called it a day at 645pm. I just experienced the best party ever. Theres some excellent points that I am leaving out of the TR but you get the idea (for those who have been to Wet know what im talkin about)...


There was no dinner plans or show plans tonite since it was gonna be a long day. We agreed to grab a quick bite before jumping in the limo at mgm to the palms at 1030pm. We grab the buffet and the other couple does Mcdonalds (slept too long) and jump in to the palms. We meet up with 2 other couples at Playboy for Heff's party and are taken right up to our table. Heff was in attendance for a bit with the typical playmates but was whisked away a short time later. I immediately noticed that Annie is hungover from Wet and wasnt gonna make it long but she grabs a drink in disgust. Also another female in the group thought filling up a glass full of Capt w/ a splash of coke was a good idea. Needless to say she was one and done and Annie would only last about another hour. By 1am we were left with the couple that we knew the least and we had a great night with them. They were Vegas locals and after killing most of the remaining liquor we split PBC/Moon and headed for a local 24hr Vietnamese dive off the strip. Great Food!! Its called Pho Kin Long (like phuk him long...jokes were had). We made some great new friends and called it a night at 430am.


This was our Marathon Day and I did it with no nap or rest. I drank sooo much but no hangover and liver still working.

Last day report coming.... A little bit at a time!

We all decided to sleep in a bit on Sunday since we had to cancel our plane tour of the GC (heavy winds). We hit the streets for some wandering around. We had to eat so off to In/Out Burger for some animal style creations. One word describes this staple... AWESOME. Then a cab ride to PH where we picked up tix for peepshow. Next it was time to check out City Center. Very nice but didnt feel like "VEGAS" and dont think I'd ever pay to stay. After a frozen or two at NYNY we headed down to the Luxor just to hang out (wanted to see Mandalay but never made it). Gambled and drank sum more before heading to the room to get ready for our last night in Vegas.

We headed to Planet Dailies at PH (under peepshow) for a quick bite and it was pretty good (like diner food but good). Then escalator upstairs for the show. The show was ok-good but nothing I would see again. I much rather go see Crazy Horse at MGM (great show). From here a quick cab ride to Vanity.

We get to the ropes at Vanity and check in for our table. Host couldnt find my info right away and the girls start complaining. We got in in less than 10 min and they were whining like babies (they were spoiled all week). Our host takes us in to the club and sits us in a little nook off to the right when you walk in. At first I thought this sux, Im far from the dance floor and isolated then they sat the tables around us and all was good. Had a great night. Did a bogo and downed a skyy and malibu bottle. Our staff was pretty good and attentive. By 3am we were moved to a table on the dance floor and finished the bottles and night there. Again, this is the basics of our trip and some points i cant write about but it was an amazing time. I wish I could go back tomorrow but realistically it wont happen for at least 6m-1yr.

Not much to write about on Monday... We grabbed a quick lunch bite outside MGM, bought a few gifts at the gift shops and caught our non-stop flight to Ft Lauderdale at 4pm. Did grab sushi in Ft Lauderdale at like 1am miami time at some new place we found on urbanspoon (thankgod for iphone).
