I have just registered on the site so I thought I would share the details of my last trip, as this site was so useful in making it such a good trip! I went to vegas for 7 nights near the end of August with two of my buddys, and we stayed at the MGM Grand. As this trip was quite a long time ago I cannot remember all the details, but I will do my best!

I will give a quick summary of what we got upto in the daytime during the trip as we mainly did a lot of touristy things as it was our first time in vegas.

Daytime

We spent quite a lot of our days walking up and down the strip going in the hotels and taking lots of pictures. We went on the rollercoaster at NYNY, which was good if a bit bumpy. We checked out the fountains which were pretty impressive, and we also did a bit of shopping at the fashion show mall.

If we wernt walking the strip we spent our time at the pool complex at the mgm which we loved. You still got a party atmophere at the pools and there was still plenty of hot girls around. Everyone was real friendly and you could also get a lounger easily, and in the shade which is ideal for me as a pale english bloke. We had lots of beers and spoke to plenty of nice girls and had a great time.

A couple of days during the week we went into wet republic free of charge and had a good time there. It was very quiet but we still had a good time there was good music and a good crowd. We want to hit wet at the weekend when we go this year and really experience it with a big party atmopshere.

Clubbing Nights

I will skip monday night as we got to vegas, having been awake for a very long time, so we just had a look down the strip and explored our surroundings.

Tuesday Night

I had arranged bottle service with Brandon at pure, thanks to the contact details on this site. I found him very helpful and was very quick to respond to my e-mails. Got to the club about 10.30 and spoke to someone with a clipboard who told to me wait then he called me over to speak to brandon. I tipped $90 and confirmed a table in main room. Someone else led us in but i wasnt sure to tip or not but chucked him $20, but I dont think this was necessary. We had a great table right by the main dancefloor below the dj booth. We had an absoloutly amazing night, and felt like celebrities. The service was amazing, the music was awsome as they played hip-hop a lot of ol skool stuff which was good.

I remember us being approached by a girl early on in the night asking if her and friends could sit with us. She was not the best looking and we were a bit unsure what to do, but loving the power of the table! But we were saved by our security guy who basically sent the girl packing and told us there were much hotter girls to come and to wait it out! What a legend! True to his word there were plenty of hot girls who we got stamped and partied with us, we were dancing on the couches and having the time of our lives. Not sure what time we left but I remember it being a great night.

I also remember we were approached by some guy outside pure who was asking if we had reserved a table and saying he could offer us BOGOF on bottles. This seemed dodgy so we declined and glad we did, I assumed he worked for a vip company or something.

Wednesday

We hit up voodoo lounge open bar which I had booked for $60 through vegas.com and which was a very good deal. You could get any drink you wanted pretty much, and I was getting cocktails in all night and got pretty smashed. It was a mixed crowd in there, plenty of cougers which we didnt mind too much as one of my mates was down for some couger hunting. Can't remember much more of this night, I think the music was decent and the view was amazing. We met some girls from seattle I think and danced with them for quite a lot of the night. I would reccomend this night if you wanted to do a cheaper option instead of hitting the major clubs.

Thursday

I contacted Larson before the trip and he got me and my two friends on the guestlist for Tao. I was quite surprised as three men that we got on the guestlist but it was good as we got in Tao real quick and I think we had to pay $20 for cover. We had a bit of trouble when we first got there as they did not allow my friend in who was wearing a polo shirt and not full button down shirt. I thought this was a bit ridiculous as he still looked very smart. So we had to taxi it back to Mgm so he could change. This made us all a bit annoyed when we got into the club but then we started to look around and we soon forgot about it. I was very impressed with the club it looked amazing and the girls in the bathtubs was a nice touch.

We hit up the bar and got plenty of vodkas down us, i remember looking at my reciepts the next day and saw that there was a very short time between drink purchases! The club did get really packed but I did not think it was that much of a problem and we hung out in the opium room quite a bit which was cool. We met a few girls throughout the night, and had a real good time. I cant remember much else from this night but very impressed with Tao and will go back there this year.

Friday

I had not organised anything for this night but I wanted to hit up XS as i heard such good things about it on this website. We got there early as I was worried about a big que, so got there at 10.30 and we only had to wait about 5 mins and we were in. The club itself I thought looked amazing especially when you first walk down those stairs. Overall though this was our least favourite night. I dunno if it was a one off but there seemed to be a lot of men in the club, specifically asian men. The ratio of the club seemed more men than women which I found quite strange, and the music did not seem as good as our previous nights. We still had a good night and chilled outside most the night which was very nice, and had a few drinks. I want to give this place another chance as the club itself does look amazing and im sure that night was just a one off.

Saturday

This night we hit up the palms and did the VIP access and hosted bar at rain which I had booked on wanttickets. We got to the palms and got in easily with our wristband and went straight into rain to get our free drinks, the club was pretty empty as it was early but we didnt care as we tucked into the open bar with the rest of people up there. This night we all got very drunk as we were downing the vodkas and god knows how many we got in. It was supposed to stop at 1 but we tipped our bar man a bit extra and he kept us going. My memory gets a bit hazy after this. I remember my friend pulling a girl in rain and then having to run to the toilet to be sick, unsurprisingly this girl left. Then I think we were chatting up some girls from canada, and went over to ghostbar with them I dont remember walking there though. I think we chilled in there a bit then we all got split up, these girls had rooms in paris and planet hollywood. I went back to paris with one of the girls and one of my friends went to PH with the rest of the girls. I dont even know where my other friend had got to. Then my friend and the rest of the girls came over to paris which was not great timing and we had a few drinks there before walking back to the mgm.

Sunday

We had an early flight monday morning and we were all pretty dead so did not go out this night. We hung round the casino and had some drinks there and did our last bit of gambling before the flight home.

This was a great trip and the best holiday I have had which is why we are heading back this year for labour day weekend.

Im not too sure i booked it up on vegas.com and just brought with me the printout, but i guess it would be ok to just rock up and pay for it.

Haha...the alluring Sunday rest day.

I'm always mixed on that. When I go out Sunday night and feel dead on monday morning attempting to the travel (I have about a 5 hour flight from vegas +3 on the zone change) I wish I would have kept it a bit easier on Sunday. But when I take it easy on Sunday and feel rested on Monday, I feel like I wasted a night in Vegas!
