So coming down for a friends birthday and wanted to get a cake or cupcakes or something for her while out or at the pool...any suggestions? anyone know if we have to order the cake from the property we are partying at?

Where are you staying? I'm sure the bigger hotels have bakeries that can whip something up. If you wanted to something REALLY cool, they have the most amazing cupcake "cakes" at Freed's bakery. It is a renouned bakery there. They do delivery and stuff too, I ordered my wedding cake from there and they delivered it to the hotel for a nominal fee.

I never really noticed any bakeries that sell cakes in Vegas.

I believe pools allow you to bring your own food, but you better call to confirm, cause that would really suck if you couldn't bring the cake in.
