I saw this show about 3 years ago and loved it. Went with the GF at the time. Tickets then were not cheap. I think they were around $130 each... but after the show I had no regrets about the money spent. I thought it was well worth it.

Glad to hear the show was great. I am heading to Love our first night there with the gf on the 8th and we are really excited. We actually got a great deal on tickets, 35% off for a student discount. Came out to $70 each.

You'll have a great time. Tickets are much lower now... making it a better vaule. Make sure you grab some drinks from the concessions area on the way in. I remember I got a huge red bull and vokda. It was like a 7-11 big gulp.

Haha. I was actually going to ask what the drink situation is at shows like this, but that pretty well answered it.

I saw LOVE a couple of years ago as well. I'm a huge beatles fan but the two friends I went with weren't, we all thought it was the most entertaining Cirque show we've seen. Definitely worth the $!

(copied out of my original trip report)

I loved love. I’ve seen lots of shows, and its hands down one of the best shows ive seen. You can clearly see the creators Shrooms/LSD/weed/X Seretonin drug-induced visualization come to life.

Its quite different from the other Cirque shows, but in my opinion, I think its the best Cirque show(Ive only seen Mystere, O, and alegria) There are less acrobatics and more dance compared to other Cirque shows, but there is this AMAZING ethereal, dream-like quality about this show.

I like to hide my sensitive side from my friends, so at certain points in the show I actually had to fight back tears caused by the beauty of the show. I like to blame the alcohol for my extreme endorphin releasing passion felt during this show, but I friggin loved everyone in that room. I wanted to save the ticket stubs so I can stare at them later. (i actually ended up throwing them out... but the thought was there).

I love music in general, and the sound quality is amazing in this theatre.
I was quite close to the stage (not good seats though), and I saw the dancers every facial expression and small movements, and they just seemed to love what they were doing, so perhaps this made the show even more amazing to me. Cause ive seen many a bored performer, or a performer without confidence, or a performer that looked like they were reserving their energy for an evening show. These performers give it their 110% and they were surreal. The dancers are gorgeous too.

Cause i have extreme ADD, whenever my mind would wander, it was to think of who I wished could watch the show, and I wished my grandma was still alive so i could have enjoyed it with her. I thought about when I could watch it again, and who I should watch it with and where would I sit. I wanted to find the asshole that stole my rollerblades so I could learn to rollerblade like the performers in the show. My heart of coal even felt some forgiveness towards this thief as the show filled me with love. Normally I fall asleep during movies or shows cause it doesn’t hold my attention or I start think about something entirely different.

You can get the tickets at the Tix 4 Tonight booth in fashion show mall for some recession-friendly prices.

Im a little sad these tickets are being sold next to the likes of Thunder from Down Under and Carrot Top..but Im also comforted because mystere tickets are at tix 4 tonight so they defininitely have quality show tickets too! They have those free 24 7 magazines you can get all over the place and there is a coupon in there for an additional $2 off each ticket up to a max of 4. Get to the show early, and you can get free club passes (which you don't actually need cause there was no one collecting admission) for Revolution as well as free drink tickets or 2 for 1 drink tickets. Revolution bar is a cool place to have a pre-drink.

We were sitting really close to the stage; I think the better seats are up top, because by the end of it, my neck was pretty sore cause theres a lot of action happening up top.

I watched this show with five friends. One of them didnt like the show and said O is much better. Two of them liked the show very much, and one more shared my xtreme enthusiasm. I'm not really sure how much the other guy liked it.

I know Im really hyping this up, and I hope you don’t feel the same way I felt after watching Transformers cause i was expecting a movie of epic proportions after all the hype.. i know a couple people that have seen it that did not share my enthusiasm as they expected a typical cirque show so its definitely not for everyone.

I don’t think vegas trips are complete unless i watch a show.. so make sure to check out any show while youre there and go to the tix for tonight booths..

I really wished I bought the T-shirt now. I don’t usually wear concert tshirts or like Phantom of the Opera shirts, but i would make an exception for this show. I have seen someone wearing the shirt in my hometown and I actually stopped them to talk about the show..THAT is how much i loved it. This show really connected with me on a deep level. LOL

I have to say, I loved LOVE as well.

I am a pretty big Beatles fan, so... but hey.. even if you are not, you are in a for a mega treat.

The seating position is the best in Vegas.. or perhaps anywhere. Completely 360 degrees, and even the worst seats rock.

But it is so easy to get half price best seating.. definitely worth the money to go and watch this show..

I'm sure it appeals to an audience, but I felt like Mystere was long due for an update.

Oh man, and Elvis....I've heard nothing but horror stories coming out of camp citycenter on that one. Hopefully they can pull that one together.

so, short story long..

That’s tough, because Mystere and O are both very good! O is more impressive, because of the newer set and costumes. But Mystere still holds a place dear in my heart because it’s the first Cirque show I’ve seen and I spent the majority of the show in awe of the performances or holding my breath because I feared the performer would get injured.
But yeah, Mystere looks a bit like an older generation model..

I’m getting excited now just thinking about these shows.

During O, I kept worrying about how the performers were getting oxygen when I should have been dazzled/captivated by the performance, I kept wondering what was going on backstage. Every time the “stage” would rise above the water, to become “floor” instead of pool, I wondered about how large the holes were. The show is perfectly timed to the second, but it’s still a job, and mistakes happen, and I wondered if there ever are close calls where the diver almost jumps into the floor instead of the pool cause he was up late the previous night having one too many sake bombs. (although with their physiques, I doubt they drink nor have they ever set foot in a place that serves fries in a paper container!)

We sat in the front row for this show, and at first I thought I reached baller status sitting there next to some lady looking like Ivana Trump wearing too much perfume in a sequin dress and satin purse, (I mean really?), but then realized, these seats are way too close. We got the tickets the same day as the show, which probably means, these are actually crappy seats. So I’d rather sit somewhere around the 20th row.. to see more of the show. I did like that the performers would come out from the side, and interact with me or my friends. That was cool. Made me feel special. Lol.

I don't generally like to rewatch shows unless the price is right, but I'd rather see O again than Mystere.

I’d like to watch Ka and Zumanity next. My understanding is the Chris Angel show is really weak (is it still even running), but I don’t know anyone that watched it, or admitted to watching it. I love reading scathing reviews, so if anyone has seen it, please post your review!

lol zumanity must have been more "abstract"... KA actually has a storyline, which you need to be somewhat sober to understand.

i thought that final battle scene in KA was pretty darn cool

one of the pre-show ninjas kept on coming up to our seats and making all these noises .. we were actually starting to get nervous lol

I got too drunk the first time I saw Ka and I had to see it again. I loved it. Saw Zumanity too and really liked it but I was expecting a little more action. It's a lot smaller in scale then Ka but it's still a lot of fun (and I think the ticket prices reflect the smaller scale). I want to see O and Love next.

LOVE is the only Cirque I've ever seen, and it just blew me away. Probably the best anything I've ever seen.
Wow! Kind of tempted to see it again...but I should prob see a diff cirque show I think!

Not sure how to read this TMZ story...
Do they mean an MGM Mirage Hotel... or the Mirage... They way it's writen I take it as the Mirage. Does this mean Love will end or move?
