Pink Taco was very good and so was Mr. Luckys tho its more of a cafe type place. Dont forget Nobu, I go to the NYC and LA and Malibu ones all the time they are outrageous not too sure how the vegas one is but im sure ill hit it up in May

I've only been to the ones in Atlantis (which sucked) and Vegas (which I like). A few people have said that NYC Nobu>Vegas Nobu (and apparently the London one towers above them all), but unless you're a food snob of epic proportions I think you'll be pleased.

As to KC, +1 on Pink Taco

Only ever eaten at Mr. Lucky's and was impressed - 24 hour diner but with some good cheap eats [ok, well, I didn't eat anything, but my friend had a steak meal as a part of one of their specials].

Went to Mr. Lucky's twice yesterday. Breakfast was crazy good. Went again around 3 am... Wasn't impressed. Everything was much more rushed. My girl had the patty melt and it didn't have any taste. Very bland. I tried making appointments for all those restaurants too and it was all booked. Should have known better.

The biggest advantage the Mr. Lucky's is that it's open 24 hours. The food is great after a night of drinking. Pink Taco is a nice spot for a quicker meal, and Nobu is my favorite sushi in Vegas, although some night's it's tough to get in and for me, sushi does not sit well with the amount of drinking I do in Vegas, so Nobu is usually saved for the last day of the trip.

Yeah, those vegas casino 24 hr cafes are never quite as good late late night. Waiters are tired from dealing with all the drunkasses and the food is off. Wonder how well Lucky's is gonna be dealing with us this coming May haha

Not so good. I honestly doubt most of us are going to want to wait anyways. There's only so much space.

MR Lucky's not on the menu item...

$7.77: Gambler's Special: Steak, three grilled shrimp, a choice of potato or broccoli and a salad. At Mr. Lucky's 24/7 in the Hard Rock Hotel. It's not on the menu -- you'll have to ask your server -- and is available around the clock

Pink Taco has a good happy hour...

Happy Hour
Pink Taco kicks it up a notch with its weekday Happy Hour (Monday thru Friday at the bar from 4pm to 7pm) with specials that include 2-for-1 beers and house margaritas as well as half-priced appetizers. And Sunday thru Thursday from 9pm to 11pm enjoy $2 tacos as our featured late night special. (Perfect before Vanity line)

Although it is not a HRH Restaurant, since there are so many of you staying there I would suggest a trip across the street to hofbrauhaus.

Still trying to find a way to swing enough vacation days this year to make it out there for May.

richie notar runs the manhattan nobu.

i went to the one in LA, spent $500 on a meal that would have been equally good or better somewhere else and would have only cost $100

Yo! This place was pretty awesome, but it shut down like 2 years ago. :-(

On the restaurants.....

Rare 120 is pretty good. As far as food and ambiance goes, it is probably just barely under Stack / Fix.

Ago has really good Italian food.

Pink Taco: Great chicken tacos!

Luckys, while convenient and filled with fond hungover memories, is still a cafe. haha.

Nobu is pretty good. Reminds me a lot of Koi.

Other good options......

If none of the above appeal to you, or you want to save a little $$$.....

Walk across the street and you have Paradise Cantina (Mexican), Pizza by the slice (ny style), Ferraros, and Kazain (i'm butchering the name) sushi. All pretty good. There is also a big and tall shoe store if you eat too much! haha

You have to search by zip code I have found otherwise Rare120 doesn't show up.

id say about $100 a person before alcohol. I do the yellowtail sashimi w/ jalapeno which is $20, then the miso cod which is $30, and 2-3 rolls at between $10-20 each.....throw in a bottle of wine and youll approach the $150-200 range

then i guess the one in LA costs more... it was 500 for 3 people. all we had was one roll, and a few plates of sashimi the waiter recommended. plus 4 nobu beers at 12 bucks a bottle.

didn't really eat much... if we really did EAT, it woulda been at least double that..
