Dont forget Nobu, I go to the NYC and LA and Malibu ones all the time they are outrageous not too sure how the vegas one is but im sure ill hit it up in May chillin@thebellag 02-15-2010, 11:13 AM Pink Taco was very good and so was Mr. Luckys tho its more of a cafe type place. Dont forget Nobu, I go to the NYC and LA and Malibu ones all the time they are outrageous not too sure how the vegas one is but im sure ill hit it up in May I've only been to the ones in Atlantis (which sucked) and Vegas (which I like). A few people have said that NYC Nobu>Vegas Nobu (and apparently the London one towers above them all), but unless you're a food snob of epic proportions I think you'll be pleased. As to KC, +1 on Pink Taco masterdeviance 02-15-2010, 11:15 AM I wonder how Rare 120 stacks up with N9ne steakhouse nyc2vegas 02-15-2010, 11:16 AM nyc lower manhattan nobu has been the best one ive been to then Malibu then LA and ive heard mixed reviews of vegas and KC ive never been to rare, ago or the buffet KC2Vegas 02-15-2010, 11:27 AM Nice thanks for the input guys. Just curious since were all staying there in may. blibblab 02-15-2010, 05:33 PM Only ever eaten at Mr. Lucky's and was impressed - 24 hour diner but with some good cheap eats [ok, well, I didn't eat anything, but my friend had a steak meal as a part of one of their specials]. KC2Vegas 02-15-2010, 06:42 PM 24hr diner is going to come in handy. NyceGuy 02-15-2010, 08:01 PM 24hr diner is going to come in handy. Yea, we need somewhere that's gonna be our late night spot for food. Cisco419 02-15-2010, 10:53 PM Their gonna have to reserve the entire restaurant if we all go at the same time! its gonna be insane!!! killerfanatics 02-15-2010, 11:09 PM Went to Mr. Lucky's twice yesterday. Breakfast was crazy good. Went again around 3 am... Wasn't impressed. Everything was much more rushed. My girl had the patty melt and it didn't have any taste. Very bland. I tried making appointments for all those restaurants too and it was all booked. Should have known better. ScottyG203 02-16-2010, 12:23 AM The biggest advantage the Mr. Lucky's is that it's open 24 hours. The food is great after a night of drinking. Pink Taco is a nice spot for a quicker meal, and Nobu is my favorite sushi in Vegas, although some night's it's tough to get in and for me, sushi does not sit well with the amount of drinking I do in Vegas, so Nobu is usually saved for the last day of the trip. brit sailor 02-16-2010, 02:00 AM has anybody tried the Rainbow bar and grill ? it is just over the road from the hard rock ? my mate has been to the one in LA and says its brilliant ? Cheers WIll vegasfun4all 02-16-2010, 06:05 AM Mr Lucky's is good.....I had a meal before hitting a STP show at the joint and was very impressed! Wonder how well Lucky's is gonna be dealing with us this coming May haha killerfanatics 02-16-2010, 02:55 PM Not so good. I honestly doubt most of us are going to want to wait anyways. There's only so much space. royale 02-17-2010, 08:35 AM MR Lucky's not on the menu item... $7.77: Gambler's Special: Steak, three grilled shrimp, a choice of potato or broccoli and a salad. At Mr. Lucky's 24/7 in the Hard Rock Hotel. It's not on the menu -- you'll have to ask your server -- and is available around the clock Drew 02-17-2010, 08:51 AM MR Lucky's not on the menu item... $7.77: Gambler's Special: Steak, three grilled shrimp, a choice of potato or broccoli and a salad. Can't wait for my April trip for another pitcher of sangria!! Pink Taco has a good happy hour... Happy Hour Pink Taco kicks it up a notch with its weekday Happy Hour (Monday thru Friday at the bar from 4pm to 7pm) with specials that include 2-for-1 beers and house margaritas as well as half-priced appetizers. And Sunday thru Thursday from 9pm to 11pm enjoy $2 tacos as our featured late night special. (Perfect before Vanity line) McNulty 02-17-2010, 09:47 AM Although it is not a HRH Restaurant, since there are so many of you staying there I would suggest a trip across the street to hofbrauhaus. Still trying to find a way to swing enough vacation days this year to make it out there for May. Looks like that is going on my to do list for places to check out! jackcolton 02-17-2010, 11:40 AM has anybody tried the Rainbow bar and grill ? it is just over the road from the hard rock ? my mate has been to the one in LA and says its brilliant ? Cheers WIll Yo! This place was pretty awesome, but it shut down like 2 years ago. :-( On the restaurants..... Rare 120 is pretty good. As far as food and ambiance goes, it is probably just barely under Stack / Fix. Ago has really good Italian food. Pink Taco: Great chicken tacos! Luckys, while convenient and filled with fond hungover memories, is still a cafe. haha. Nobu is pretty good. Reminds me a lot of Koi. Other good options...... If none of the above appeal to you, or you want to save a little $$$..... Walk across the street and you have Paradise Cantina (Mexican), Pizza by the slice (ny style), Ferraros, and Kazain (i'm butchering the name) sushi. All pretty good. There is also a big and tall shoe store if you eat too much! haha KC2Vegas 02-17-2010, 11:44 AM Great info Jack thank you. Alisha673 02-17-2010, 11:56 AM They have GC for Rare120 on Resturant.com.
