T-1 until arrival.

Firstly, a quick apology. Spent the past 3 weeks sorting out moving back to London and sorting out myself and LondonUK's new apartment, so i have not had a chance to post on here or sort anything out for the holiday.

Right...

currently sitting with LondonUK, in his parents house, ready for a trip to the airport in the morning. Excitment is building, so i doubt we will sleep tonight, rather we shall be doing all the last minute trip plans.

The attempted terrorist attack this morning has made me rather stressed... but hey... nothing a few bottles of scotch cant cure.

camera is charged, condoms have been bought, bags have been packed and the 24 years spent perfecting our english accent will soon pay off.

will see you all on nye or perhaps before for those of you arriving earlier - if you want to find out where we are, send us abuse or just check up on our points system then in those now infamous words "PM me for more info" ;)

the next update shall be given when we are waiting at London Gatwick tomorrow morning for our flight... if we are not too drunk...

well, we landed a few hours ago...

flight was fun.. it was delayed 3 hours, so spent that time chatting up some english girl who might come to bank with us tonight... then managed to blag a free upgrade on the flight for myself and londonuk...

landed 3 hours ago, picked up booze and then just wasted a few hours playing in the mgm casino, lost a few hundred, but met a few cute texas girls in the wolfgang puck restaurant who seemed to like our accent.

anyway, getting ready before we head off to bank. got a table there and going to try to party hard. both of us are struggling to stay awake as our body think it is 5am in london....

hopefully in the morning we might actually have something interesting to report... have got some photos to upload in the morning.

OK: so it's 0830 here and 1630 back in the UK, haven't slept yet but had the most amazing night!!

We finished up playinging around in the mgm and got ready and headed over to the bellagio. Had a few warm up drinks in Caramel bar before heading into bank to start partying properly!

The aforementioned Texas ladies joined us (they were fun ;)) and then we met two russian girls (grade A table whores but hey, they were hot) marc was on top form and alternated one of the texas girls and one of the russians - it was a masterclass!! The two uni friends of mine joined us and we had an amazing time dancing and partying and absolutely killed it seeing away 3 bottles in the process.

Left the bank, marc, myself, my two uni friends and the two russians and came back to our hotel room where we continued the party!

Everyone has just left, we are absolutely wasted and marc decided that he was a little stiff so has just called one of the mgm's masseuses up and is currently getting a massage while I write this!

We met up with Justin (the host for all the hard rock clubs) tonight as he was partying in the bank - he's a top lad and has invited us to join his table at XS tomorrow night which we will do. Looking forward to hitting XS - even though it's a monday I think it's one of those clubs you have to go to, and although we're missing out on Jet, we can go there next monday.

Honestly cannot convey how excited I am by this city, I am actually like a kid in a proverbial candy store! This city was tailor made for me and yet I'm 90% sure that this city could infact kill me - slowly, from the inside out......

Think it's time for some shut eye now as am meeting up with my uni friends at 1pm for an "espresso martini" not sure what it is, but anything that combines caffiene and alcohol is fine by me!!

it is 1:30pm on monday.
i have had 4 hours sleep since saturday.

about $4000 has been spent so far.

just brought londonuk a burger from wolfgangs pucks, to his room. spent last 2 hours drinking bloody mary's there with the barman. nice. confirmed dinner tonight with the 2 american girls... double date! and meant to be meeting up with the russians in a few hours. going to leave londonuk to sleep, and go find some bars where people are, to test out my english accent some more.

once i get all the picks from last nigh together, i shall upload them. and the receipts so far.

Yep!! Gets you into clubs easier as well if our experience is anything to go by. Mr E is a good looking bloke (or at least I like to think so) so the accent might not have made much difference, but I think my accent helped me out with the blokes as well - it works both ways! But I totally love american accents - so there was lots of mutual appreciation!

Loving the 'live' TR - way to go through lots of money :-) - so you're meeting the dumb texans tonight?

Ok ladies and gentlemen - the next installment!!

We did indeed meet up with the texans - went for dinner with them and had a little fun ;) unfortunately had to leave them after dinner as we had to (quite literally) run from the restaurant to another bar where we met the two russians :D

Had a couple of drinks with them there and then headed off to the wynn/encore where we sat outside in a bar called parasol and just lapped up the amazing atmosphere by the side of that immense waterfall. Watched a couple of the shows that happen out there while enjoying a mojito or two and entertained our russian friends a little more....

...this is where things took a turn for the worse! The twin that marc was with casually mentioned that it would be "hilarious" if they drunkenly got married!! (we disagreed!) but after saying this I grabbed the hand of the other twin and jokingly said that we'd get them both a big diamond ring. Upon grabbing said hand I noticed that this girl already had a diamond ring on, at which point she mentioned that she was already married!!!!!!!!!!

The next comment was "it's alright though, he's not a real husband, I only married him to get a green card"!!!!!!!!! It was at this point we paid the bill and ran!!

I'd now like to take a time out from the drunken update to give a massive shout out to Justin Crews who is listed on here as the hard rock contact. That man has totally taken care of us since we got here. Absolutely top bloke.

He invited us to join him and the hard rock crew at XS tonight and we had an amazing time with all those guys, left XS about 4am and went and sat in the casino bar in wynn for a while.

Met an amazing girl from california (2 points for anyone who's keeping count) and she came back with us both........enough said.

It's now 915am, we're both still drinking, marc is officially in love (and promised to fly this girl out to london) I however am just in love with this town!!

We have made the "sensible" decision to have a quiet one tomorrow night (however we may just have a bottle in blush with some friends) as we've got black eyed peas lined up for weds and a table in wasted space after.

Thurs is cathouse and i can't think any further in advance right now.

Looking forward to you guys joining us, however we may be partially dead by then.

anyway, i lasted 64 hours until arround 3pm when i decided to get some sleep.

woke up at 3am after recovered... so wrote off most of tuesday. just grabbed some food in wolfgang puck's and played some slots, met some girls from dc and virginia in the casino,was chatting with them, but as we did not have a stripper pole in our room, they did no want to come back.

anyway.... we also have a table at wasted space tomorrow with 3 bottles. who else has one? and when are you all getting there.

OK guys, so it's been a while since our last update as we've been going a bit nuts!!

The BEP were absolutely amazing, the entire place went absolutely nuts when they played I got a feeling at the end. We finished up at the concert and headed over to wasted space to get our table and met up with drew and aria and william and NOT nyce (he lost his id!!).

Wasted space was interesting..... was awesome meeting up with all the jc guys and we partied hard! Marc however took it upon himself to make out with a girl who must weigh 400lbs at least!! and then she started giving him head while we were sat at our table!! Hilarious!!

We stayed at wasted space till it shut around 4, and was making good head way with 3 hot canadian girls trying to get them back to ours for a bit of an afterparty - at this point however three of the dancers from "thunder down under" showed up and we lost out to them - DAM!

So we head back to ours, I take a slight detour across the road to PH to take drew home (he was semi wheelchair bound by this point) and marc heads down to the casino. I head back to my room, and nyce, cisco (who'd just arrived) head over (is about 5am at this point) cisco has his bro and mates over too and we all have a drink and just chill out.

About 6 marc comes back from the casino with two girls, shortly after cisco, nyce et al all leave and marc and I carry on partying with the girls ;)

So we wake up on NYE after about an hours sleep and head over to excalibur to meet up with the whole JC crew for lunch. Lunch consists of some lovely american food and a bottle of patron! starting early then I guess!!

After lunch we all go back to our hotels to get ready and then head over to loves' room for about 630 to start pre drinking. The whole JC crew is there, and a lot of drinks get drunk (loves may have had one or two too many....) we head down to Cathouse for about 9 and meet up with Chappy and JC himself. We all get inside and JC/Chapp have sorted it so that mine and marrc's table is just combined with theres and there is just one huge JC crew rolling with a shit load of bottles!!

Cathouse was going nuts, had a really good feeling in there! midnight rolls around, the champagne is flowing, and I saw in the new year stood on the top of our seats at the top of the club right by the side of JC himself!! A good start to the new year!!

We roll out of cathouse at about 1-130 and head over to the palms place (I got there lying in the back of chappy's truck! was funny!) we get there and head up to the 58th floor and there's a sweet party going on up there - drinks flowing, everyone having a good time, and a jacuzzi overlooking all the strip! it was BEAUTIFUL!!

We party there till about 11 this morning, marc's hooked up so came back with his girl, I soon follow suit with a lovely girl (who's from NYC - can't remember the points on that one) and I don't know where marc's girl is from.- will have to do some points calculation later....

ANyways, it's 5:45pm, i've just got up after 3 hrs sleep, rang marc and he is out drinking with chappy again! all the JC crew are coming over in 15mins to pre drink before we hit up tryst tonight - going to be big!!

cannot wait for tonight, this town is nuts! i love this city!!

wow you guys know how to have a great time.

post new years - the JC crew congregated at my place and we had some pre drinks. Marc was passed out on the sofa after last nights exertions whilst the rest of us started the pre game!

Two bottles of grey, one belvedere and a patron were seen away before we got there. there wee 7 guys and four girls (londonuk, drew, cisco, dank, nyce, supraking, william142, jen (william's wife!!) moe, lovesvegas18888 and aria) we all got in a limo and rolled on down to tryst.

Chapp hooked us up with a host, and after a $100 grease all the guys got in free. We collectively got a table (noone spent more than $100 tonight) and started having fun.

As is a tried and tested way of saving money, a few guys were packing vodka flasks. Unfortunately aria was seen pouring a drink, and moe putting the flask ina pocket. After some arguments (unsuccessfully) the two girls were asked to leave. They moved onto another bar in the wynn to keep going.

By this point addrian and goldenticket joined us - after their epic journey yesterday it was amazing to meet them and share a dance ;)

Jenn and loves went to the bathroom and being drunk bowled into the same cubicle. Some bouncer saw them and then accused them of doing drugs in there so removed them too. (Loves now claims they weren't kicked out, just that it was strongly suggested they leave...)

A couple of guys and girls left with them, leaving myself, cisco and supraking in tryst. The others rolled onto peppermill to chill and grab some food whilst the three of us stayed a little while. We thrn went to meet them, had a drink and then all decided to come back to mine.

(I forgot to mention that nyce couldn't get in because he lost his id two nights ago) He went and met up with cisco's bro and mates and all of them just headed over too.

Having woken marc up when we got back, he's decided to go play some blackjack, and half the guys who were here decided to go see how he chats up random girls.

Few of us still drinking here, discussing the merits of the ever inccreasing influence of all the AOD's hook ups and generally laughing at cisco who is WASTED!!!!!!!!!!


loves claims she isn't drunk and "carried herself well tonight" - the jury's still out on this one....
I also don't think it's been mentioned yet that upon being asked how many guys she made out with last night her answer was "about 10 or more, maybe more"

Marc however is now in bed with said stripper while I write this and watch some football!

Tonight should be good, we're going to check out vanity over at the hard rock tonight as Bob Sinclair's playing so should be a good night! Will be interesting to see how the night develops! I've given up on trying to guess what will happen as I could never have predicted half of the crazy shit that's happened since I got here!!

He's talking to this lovely cali girl who we both get on with so we decide to hang out. We all go for lunch and then decide to just chill out in the room. Marc being the player he is orders a bottle of champagne from room service and we all have a glass. After a while the two of them retire to his bedroom and I put some football on TV. Loves and Cisco hit me up saying they are going to downtown vegas so I join them.

After marc is done in his room he has a shower and while he is in there the girl he's been with runs out with his bank cards, dior sunglasses, gucci luggage bag, cash, camera, and some other stuff.

MGM security are called and the story is told. They have her on CCTV leaving our hotel with all his stuff.

Nothing we can do, so marc, myself, chapp and his girl go for dinner at rare120 at the hard rock. After dinner we meet up with cisco, loves and nyce. We all roll into Vanity.

Vanity is INCREDIBLE! best sound system i've ever heard, amazing visuals and hot people. We get a few bottles in and party pretty hard.

After Vanity we all went to bank where we were meant to meet JC, but he'd left by the time we arrived, so it was decided that nyce, cisco and loves would head to Drai's whilst myself, Marc, and two of chapps' friends headed over to the strip club where the aforementioned thief works....

We went in and grabbed a drink and after a couple of minutes we see the girl. Marc goes to talk to her whilst I grab security. Long story short, she agreed to turn up at our place at 9:30am this morning with all her stuff if the police weren't involved. If she doesn't, the police will be involved and she'll lose her stripper license - Excellent result.

The four of us head on over to Drai's and meet up with the others. Had a drink or two there and then decided to head back to our suite for an afterparty.

It is now 6:30am, so only 3 hours until our stuff is returned. Another bottle has been ordered from room service and so I decided to write this whilst we wait.

So marc left this morning to go and meet the girl. She was late, and then decided she wasn't coming to the mgm. Marc walked over to Hooters where she told him she would only stop and pick him up if he was alone. (I'm not entirely sure how all this ended up being on her terms...) but anyway, they meet up and she drives him to her place where he picks up all of his stuff.

The girl then offers to give him a lift back, but on the way the car is involved in some sort of accident. I don't know many details as I've only spoken to marc briefly, but the last I heard he was in the presence of the police department and giving a witness statement.

I really don't know what is going to happen next!

Number 3 was at tryst. You know who I'm talking about!!

Considering marc hasn't got around to writing up the rest of what happened, and he has now just left to go and meet her AGAIN!! (to give her her underwear back that she left in his room whilst she was nicking his stuff....) that I'd do it.

So she was meant to ring marc at 9:30am to arrange to drop off his stuff. 9:30 comes and goes and he hears nothing. He tries calling her, but still nothing and so he goes to speak to mgm security. He was taken into the mgm security centre (very disappointing by all accounts, and nothing like the security centre of the montecito casino in the TV series Las Vegas - far fewer models walking around he says!)

The head of mgm security then rings the girl and still no answer, so leaves a voicemail. About 5 minutes later he gets a call from the girl apologising and says she was asleep. She says that she won't come to the mgm now, but that he should meet her outside hooters (an appropriate choice I feel!!) in half an hour and that "he should come alone"!!

Marc makes his way over there and eventually a girl in a blue car turns up. Marc gets in, and the first thing the girl says "i'm so so sorry for stealing your stuff, I don't know what came over me" they start having a chat while they are driving along, and she says that she still really likes him , and he says that he still really likes her!!!! WTF!!

So they decide to go grab a coffee somewhere off the strip so they can have a chat. They over somewhere near the airport, and keep chatting whilst in the car. Chatting turns into flirting, and they keep staring at each other in the eyes. Whilst she is staring at marc she attempts to change lanes and drives straight into another car!!

The two cars pull over and have to wait there whilst the metro arrives to deal with it. Whilst waiting for the metro to arrive marc and the girl starting out at the side of the road (I know, I give up with him as well!!) the metro finally get there, and to cut a long story short, she was driving a rental car registered to her sister and she had no papers with her and no license! By this point marc is starting to come to his senses and asks the girl to get his stuff out of the boot (trunk - for those of you who don't speak english) of the car. He gets his stuff and then waits there whilst the metro get her car towed away. The rental company won't send out a replacement as she wasn't insured, so marc hails a cab. He offers he a lift back to hooters where she picked him up and she agrees. During this cab ride she is really upset and doesn't know what to do, and then asks marc if he can lend her $1000!!!!!!!

At this point he's had enough so gets out and comes to meet Loves, Nyce and I over at excalibur. If I've missed anything out I hope they can add it in!

Yeah the new rooms aren't all that. When Tonya and me first got in there I turned on the bathroom light and it turned off and wouldnt come back on so she called the front desk and started a little story about this being her bachelorette party and she needs to get ready.... then the tv was turning on and off so she called back again. After about 15 minutes she called back and chewed out the lady and then within 5 minutes the tech was up there fixing everything. I guess it was just some breakers that needed to be flipped. We started drinking and forgot about it.

We were going to try the whole, "We just got married" thing at check in but she didnt have a ring so we decided not to lol would have been awesome if they hooked us up with something!

Tried the just got married thing - no joy on getting anything sweet :( Got a room upgrade, but heck it was Bally's and a $30 sandwich - the least the could do!

So having thought our vegas adventures were coming to a close, Marc and I decided to spend tuesday doing a load of tourist type things in vegas.

We set off about 9am and walked the entire length of the strip from the MGM up to stratosphere. We went into a load of casino's on the way and had a beer or two and a burrito as well as we walked. We got photos of all the casino's on the walk, and then finally went up the stratosphere tower and rode the big one!

From there we got a cab to freemont street as marc hadn't been to downtown vegas - for those of you who met marc i'm sure you can guess his reaction "this place is dirty, it smells and everyone who works here are inbred freaks" we didnt stay so long....

We came back to the hotel, and grabbed a drink and then did our own thing for a few hours. We met up a bit later in hooters and played a little BJ there before going on a bit of a bar crawl. We ended up in The Deuce (an amazing new bar in aria) and start chatting to the bar maid. She's really nice and tells us how she used to be a gogo dancer for the light group but is too old now so works behind the bar. Marc and I are in shock as she looks like she's 21, but is actually 29 (I swear american girls age better than english girls!).

We get hungry and ask if they do food, they don't but tell us we can order from one of the other restaurants menus and they'll bring it over for us. We go for the "ultimate surf and turf" (40oz steak and 2lbs of lobster) it was incredible! As we're eating this, a friend of the bar maid turns up and we get introduced to her. She is a model from LA!! While we're sat there talking to her 3 of her friends turn up (also models from LA) these girls are smoking hot and we sit and chat with them for a while.

A bit later these four rich americans start sending shots and a bottle of champagne over to the girls, so they end up talking with these guys instead. Marc and I have one more drink there and get the bill (half of our drinks were missing from the bill so we're pretty happy!) as we get up to go, two of the models get up and come give us their numbers and say they are going to blush later and we should join them - things are looking up.

Marc and I head to caramel bar in the bellagio and have a drink in there. While we're sat down these two girls start chatting us up, but are being so forward they must have been hookers so we got up and left. As we're leaving caramel this hot blonde walks by and says:
"hi, how are you guys doing"
Marc: good thanks, what do you do in vegas?
Blonde: I'm a model/escort
Marc: So you're a hooker then?
Blonde: No, there's a difference!
Marc: why don't we have a drink whilst you explain the difference!!

I can't stop that kid! Anyway, she proceeds to give some B/S difference and then starts telling marc how he wants to "have fun" with her. He gives her a psycology lecture on why she is wrong, she gets confused, writes her number on a napkin and leaves (A picture of the napkin can be found on my fb for anyone who is interested). As she leaves, a brunette sits down between marc and I.

Brunette: ok, maybe I am

Marc (to me): we're leaving

So we leave the Bellagio (or the worlds biggest whore house as marc now calls it) and go outside. I video the fountain show that's just started as I get outside and then we get a cab to the wynn.

We have a drink in the parasol bar before texting the models from earlier. They are in Blush so we head on in. We get inside and they are sat on some table with some random guys, so we leave them alone (not really an issue as this place was full of hotties!) and start talking to these three girls. They are from Idaho and one is a hairdresser who is here to do the hair of all the pornstars who are in town, the other two just came along for a holiday in vegas. We're getting on well with them and then one decides she wants to get changed!

The five of us get in a cab and head back to there's, the girl gets changed and we start to head back to blush. On the way out of their hotel we meet the mother of one of the girls and marc freaks out a little (combine with that the fact that one of the three girls was seriously irritating and I don't blame him for running off!)

Marc heads back to blush, and I wait a bit and come back with the three girls. By the time we get back to blush marc is making out with some random girl at the bar so I figured it was about time to make a move on the hairdresser - it worked.

Her friends wanted to head over to hooters to gamble a little, so given hooters is right across the road from the MGM I go with them. Skipping forward to early the next morning, and I'm interrupted by a text message. It's from Virgin atlantic telling me that "due to adverse weather conditions in London our flight has been cancelled".

Marc then spends half an hour on the phone to Virgin atlantic shouting at them, and the best they can do is get us on a flight on friday.

Chapp then comes over to ours to help us pack up (we left the room in a bit of mess....) and then he drives us over to hooters where we stayed last night. Chapp also takes us down to the sign and we get a couple of photos there while drinking Johnny walker straight from the bottle and letting off air horns at 11am! It was a crazy road trip!

So we stayed at hooters last night, and have just moved out of there and into a players suite over at NYNY for tonight as we both have to do a lot of work given we should both have been in the office all day today and tomorrow!!

This trip has been the craziest thing ever, and now I'm down to my last last night in LV I think I'm going to go nuts tonight! Unfortunately marc can't as he has a conference call at 0430 LV time back to some people in england!

So guys, it was an absolutely epic trip - it was a pleasure meeting all you guys out there, and all that is left to do now is to fill in our last 24hrs in Sin city:

After my last update where we'd just checked into NYNY, marc and I decide to go for a walk around the casino. It was a little after noon.

Our little walk around the casino (as so often happened during our trip) descended slowly into an all day drinking session. Shortly after getting onto the casino floor we realised that "nine fine irishmen" had just opened and thought it rude not to pop in for a cheeky pint....

They serve draught magners and so we ordered up a couple of pints. There was a very sweet girl sat along the bar from us who was minding her own business having some lunch and enjoying a drink. In the way that only marc can, he started a conversation with her out of thin air (having been just reminded by me that last time he did that the girl got up and left, he tried a strange new angle with this girl - "being nice") Much to his surprise, this girl (her name was Cameo) was quite receptive to "nice marc"'s chat. He bought her another drink and slowly the conversation turned towards strippers....

At this point Cameo said that she'd never given a lap dance before and so marc said he'd pay her if she gave him a lapdance - she agreed. She then admitted she didn't know how to give a lapdance, so being the AMAZING friend I am I gave her a lapdance (for free) so that she could learn. By this point the two bar tenders and the bouncer were pissing themselves laughing and so Cameo then danced for marc - who by this point had turned back into normal marc, told her it was shit and paid her $1.

Cameo claimed it wasn't her fault that she was bad at giving lapdances, and that her talents lay in gymnastics - both of our eyes lit up! So out to the casino floor we go and Cameo starts doing handsprings in the middle of the floor for us! We both fall about laughing and then all head back to the bar.

Marc decides a round of shooters is in order so 3 B52s are ordered and drunk. Marc (full back to normal by now) told Cameo that her "tits looked amazing when they were bouncing around while she was doing flips" and proceeded to give them a good groping. She laughed and he put a $1 bill in her cleavage. Finding this amusing he then proceeded to see how many quarters he could balance on the girls boobs - it was quite a few from memory (about $3 worth I think!).

By this point we've finished our drinks and so order some more, she protests that she's just waiting for her friends who've gone off sightseeing before their flight leaves at 5pm - he protest falls on deaf ears and she gets another drink. We all take another B52 as well.

Stories then start getting told about "crazy things we've done this week" her stories were not crazy, all of marc's were. She particularly liked the post NYE story about how marc bought a completely naked girl back to our hotel only to feel sorry for her and buy her a dress. Cameo says "noone has ever bought me a dress" so marc says "well I'll buy you one right now" and they walk out of the bar.

I have no idea where they've gone, so I tell the bar tender to keep our tab open and go play some Pai Gow Poker - I win $50 in 5 hands so head back to the bar - still no sign of them. I then get a bbm fro marc saying "just pulled her, order more shots" (pulling, like snogging means making out) so I order more shots. The two of them come back, and Cameo is no longer wearing the jeans and top she was in, but is now in a lovely green mini dress.

A couple more drinks down and marriage is suggested. Once more the bar tender is told to keep the tab open, we finish our drinks and off we go to the MGM wedding chapel. In under an hour we are done, photos taken, drunken film made and head back to NYNY. We have another drink there to celebrate and the two of them won't stop making out in front of me so I go play some more Poker. I'm sat there for about 30-45 minutes and am about another $100 up when i get another bbm saying "Cameo leaving, come say bye" I head back over and they are done saying good bye, she then says goodbye to me and makes out with me - classy - before walking off to go meet her friends and fly back to sacremento. Tab paid off and marc feels like playing some craps.

Marc plays some craps and I watch for a bit. NYNY are very good at bringing complementary drinks around so we stay a while. I then get bored of watching and go put $1 in a 1c slot machine. Just after I sit down a waitress asks if I'd like a drink - yes I would - and I carry on playing. I spin and spin until I have about 30c remaining and all of a sudden the machine starts making strange noises and playing by itself! By the time it's done I am the proud owner of a Vodka OJ and $20.59 a decent return for my $1 investment I thought.

A little after we get bored of NYNY so head over to Aria to play some more over there, marc plays some more craps, I play some more Pai Gow. We must have gambled for at least 3 hours and I ended up completely even, even after tipping the croupier and the drinks girls, and buying a packet of smokes - so can't complain (I will say that if you sit at a table in Aria you will get offered your next drink before you finish the first one - excellent way to get drunk!)

So we finish up at Aria and by this point we are both pretty boozed. We have about 30minutes to waste before we had arranged to meet Colton at the venetian so we just chill out for a bit in Deuce bar - really hot waitresses.

We head over to the Venetian at about 1030 and meet up with Jack. We head up the escalator to Tao and are confronted, not with a queue, but a hoarde of people massed around the entrance. JC calmly weaves his way through the crowd, a few smiles and handshakes later and the three of us are in - simple. We all have a drink and a chat at the bar and then we convince JC (who is "taking it easy") to come party with us at Tryst where we have arranged to meet up with Justin Crews and all of his staff from Vanity. We get to tryst and again walk straight in, this time the host who let us in hands us a voucher good for 2 free drinks each - excellent. We have a drink and a shot each and then just chat some more while admiring the waterfall until Justin arrives. We then join his table and from there my night gets seriously hazy.....

I remember drinking some more, I remember dancing a lot, I don't remember JC leaving and I don't remember marc leaving. In fact, the next thing I do remember is sitting at a Pai Gow table in Bills at 9:30am. I won about $70 there and then took the three strippers I was with to breakfast at the fireside lounge at the peppermill before they dropped me back at NYNY in time to check out at 11am.

I have no idea how I got from Tryst to Drais, I have no idea who I was with in Drais, No clue how I met three strippers, and managed to lose my wallet at some point in amoungst all that.

So I rock up into our room at 11am and marc is going nuts (my phone battery had died and he'd been trying to get hold of me). We check out and Chappy and Lady Chapp come to meet us and we all go Diablo's next door for lunch. Some fajitas later and Chapp drops marc and I back at Bills so we can see if my wallet is there - it isn't. We say goodbye, and then marc and I go for one last walk up the strip before we get a cab to the airport. I fell asleep at the airport. I slept the entire 10 hr flight back to London. We then moved into our new apartment in London and I fell asleep for 20 hrs straight. Woke up, ate and chatted for a few hours and then went back to sleep for another 14 hours before my alarm went off waking me up for work on Monday.

I'm just starting to feel normal again now. Vegas killed a small part of me that I'm sure will never recover. Am I sad? no Would I have it any other way? Hell no!

Thank you to everyone on here for your advice before we went out, it made our time out there incredible. A massive thank you to all the AODers we met out there you guys rock (and I hope you now understand the way we party on this side of the pond ;)) and a special thanks to Loves - you'll always be my first Vegas wife ;)

You're not running 3g?

If you charge your phone and run on Edge your battery life increases 10 fold. Turn on 3G only when you need it.

But I need it all the time! I probably recharge my phone twice a day. I really rally this phone. I've got about fifteen things on push, I run video all the time etc. I figure that's why I got it. I'm on it right now.

I'm on the Edge network even though I have a 3G. It just helps increase battery life and in some areas works better than 3G.

I've decided to try it actually after seeing your post. I'm on wifi alot so I don't need to be on 3g all the time. I'll see if I notice a usable difference and if it impacts my usage.

This is why I use wifi. I think if you have the phone set to look for wifi networks it uses more battery but if you have it set for specific locations AND you're using the Internet alot, then you're better off using wifi. I've got to be able to get my jc on at work!

But I've already noticed a difference by having the 3g turned off. Also, I run my bluetooth devices almost the entire time my phone is on when I'm at work and the gym. So I'm killing this battery fast (it's my second iPhone too). It's how I will be able to justify getting a new droid faster, Jk.
