Made it back in last night around midnight from the first trip to Vegas, and it was AWESOME!!!! JC members REALLY hooked it up and I can't express my gratitude to you all. You really made this trip that much more memorable. That being said I don't know how some of you guys can do Vegas for a week.. Hitting up pool parties during the day and going clubbin at night. I hit up the clubs for two nights and I literally thought I was going to die on Sunday... I will post the full trip report sometime today and the pictures in the next couple of days whenever the gf uploads them. So stayed tuned for the TR!

Ok everyone.. here it is the trip report...with pics!

Preface:
As you may or may not be aware this trip was planned initially as a way for me to propose to my gf. The trip planning began with six friends coming along for the ride to party and help us celebrate. As time progressed, slowly the first two dropped out. A short while later two friends that have been dating for a long time broke up, and decided it would be in their best interest not to go to Vegas together. So it was just the four of us which would have been still awesome, but lo and behold, one of the others decides he doesn't have the cash he thought he would and wouldn't be able to come. Needless to say the last of the "savy" six dropped out in fear of being the third-wheel. I was still very intent at this point to pop the question in Vegas, but as one thing lead to another I realized I wouldn't be able to ask her father beforehand. This was an extremely big deal to me, and probably more so for her father who is old school and straight off the boat from Italy. Needless to say I wasn't really sure what to do. In all honesty I didn't totally make up my mind until two days before we left for Vegas. I realized that hopefully I only have one chance in my life to do this, and I'd better do it the right way. NO BS, what is expected needed to be done. In my eyes, to not honor the family would be disrespectful and leave some tension between the parties involved. (Sunfire knows what I'm talking about hahaha ;) )
So it was official, the proposal was off but I was at peace with my decision and I knew we were still going to have a great time regardless.

Initially I wanted to get a really nice suite and have it all for my first time in Vegas. But as forum members and my gf both advised that suites are really unnecessary unless your going to host a party in your room, as your not going to be in your room a lot, especially on your first trip. In hindsight I couldn't agree with this more. Take the extra cash you were going to spend on the suite and put it towards really enjoying yourself out on the town. Originally I had booked a standard lakeview room at the Bellagio. But I was able to find a GREAT deal for a GO Luxury (strip view) room at the Flamingo through one of Expedia's 72 hour sales, supplemented by a coupon code for Expedia I found at retailmenot.com that saved me an additional sixty dollars and around $300 overall.

The week prior to our departure I picked up some new button ups, a new blazer, a couple pairs of jeans, and some new shoes. The excitement really began to amount and culminated about 10:30 Wednesday night (the day before we left) with a dance party in my living room to the Vegas Playlist I had created on my IPOD. It was finally here.. tomorrow I would be in VEGAS!!!!!

Flight Chaos (Thursday, October 29):

I woke up Thursday at around 6:30am to get to work an hour early so that I could leave early to make my flight. I have never been so excited before, and I walked around work with a certain swagger because I knew where I'd be in a half a day. The overjoyed excitement that I was experiencing was short lived and turned to sheer panic as I tracked the flight status of the planes I had to catch. We were schedule to depart from Pittsburgh and connect in Chicago then head to Las Vegas. I'm anal retentive about flying and having plans go through accordingly, so I was able to determine the flight numbers of the prior flights to ensure I knew the status at all times. Our plane was coming from Phoenix-El Paso- Dallas-St. Louis-Chicago-Pittsburgh (we we board) - back to Chicago. As I checked the weather in the departure cities I was aware that Dallas was experiencing thunderstorms. The first leg of the trip went off without hitch, but as I tracked the flight from El Paso-Dallas I watched in horror as the flight was diverted midflight from Dallas to San Antonio due to the weather conditions in Dallas. This put the flight 3+ hours behind schedule and I knew there was no way to make the connection. I sprung into action! I called my gf and told her we were going to miss our connection. She is real low key just goes with the flow and didn't seem to concerned. She said there is nothing that can be done and we'd just get to Vegas on Friday. However, this was unacceptable and I called Southwest up and explained my situation. There was an earlier flight to Chicago from Pittsburgh and I inquired about switching to that flight. The lady told me it could be done for the low price of $689.00. I was shocked. The reality of not getting into Vegas until tomorrow really hit in and I was feeling deflated. The lady did tell me to try to get to the airport early and they may be able to help me out there. I decided that I would take her advice, and the advice that Drew left me (thanks Drew) and try to get to the Airport ASAP. I told one of my bosses the situation and he left me with the advice "Go have fun Bob, but don't blow your load in Vegas...Literally and Figuratively..." I chuckled, thanked him, took a couple hours extra hours of Vaca and headed to the airport at around 2:00pm.

I live really close to the airport and got there within 15 minutes. Hightail it to the Southwest check-in counter and tell the lady we're going to miss our connection and would like to be put on the earlier flight to Chicago. She asks where our final destination is and I inform her it is Las Vegas. She smiles and says the earlier direct flight to Vegas from Pittsburgh is delayed and she will put us on standby, waive the same day flight change fee, and refund us the twenty bucks in price difference between airfare. I was flabbergasted..I couldn't believe it. She told us there were approximately 40 empty seats on the plane and we shouldn't have a problem getting on the flight. We head through security and arrive at the gate. We talk to the lady at the desk and she informs us that we are indeed on standby and couldn't give us our boarding passes yet... I started to get a little worried that we still might not get to Vegas tonight. She then looks at her computer and tells us to hang on one second and talks to another lady at the counter. She comes back and says "here you go. Your all set" and hands us two boarding passes. I couldn't believe it. We had done it.. We were heading to Vegas and we were going to arrive 4 hours earlier than we previously had planned on. Just then I remembered I had booked a roundtrip transfer limo package through Presidential Limo (PL) and the limo wouldn't be there when we arrived. I immediately called PL and spoke to Debra. I told her that I would be arriving on a different flight about 4 hours earlier than my initial reservation. I asked if there is anything she could do and if not I would understand and just inform the limo driver that our service would not be required at the airport. She informs me that she can infact accommodate our request, and would have to upgrade us free of charge from our standard stretch limo to a super-stretch because it was the only limo available. She wished me safe travels and assured me that they would be there waiting... At this point I just needed to relax because the morning/afternoon was so stressful. We grabbed a bite to eat and waited to board.

We were a little worried that we wouldn't be able to sit together because we had a low boarding #. We managed to find two seats together in the last row of the plane. We settled in and got ready for the 4 hour flight. Just then this man from Texas asks if he could sit next to us. I said sure take your seat. His colleague sits in the middle seat infront of us and he sits in the aisle seat next to me. He asks if we have drink coupons and I tell him that we do not and he replies " You got some now" and shows us a huge wad of coupon tickets. I smile and thank him. I'm pretty shy and like to keep to myself so the first half hour of the flight we really didn't talk much. He orders three miller lights and my gf and I thank him. About 10 minutes goes by and we gradually start up a conversation. It turns out that he was heading back to Texas and got stranded in Pittsburgh because of all the problems that were going on with the weather in Texas. He decided to take the flight to Vegas and stay in a comped room rather than spending the night in Pittsburgh...He then asks if were republicans or democrats and I tell him I'm a democrat and my gf says she is a republican. I'm not a very political person, I'm only a democrat because of where I grew up. The crazy Texan informs me that he will turn me into a republican by the end of the flight. I say to myself yeah sure you will buddy. He asks me about one of my stances on a subject that I cannot recall, but I reply with something stupid and my girlfriend and him both turn inward to me and look at me like I'm an idiot. He gets all fired up and goes oh this is getting good now. We proceed to have a solid continuous conversation for the next 3 1/2 hours of the flight. It was AWESOME! We were talking about anything and everything and the beers were flowing. At the end of the flight I had four, my gf had three, and the crazy texan had nine!!!! It was an awesome flight and he picked up the whole tab. It couldn't of been a better start to the trip. We say goodbye to the Texan, shake hands, and thank him again for the beers and the enjoyable flight. We arrive at baggage claim and find our limo driver Marc from PL. He grabs our bags and we tell him its our first time in Vegas. He hands the gf a rose which she really liked, and then pours us two glasses of champagne.

We then settle into the limo and Marc snaps a few more pictures of us inside. I ask him if he could take us down the strip on the way to the hotel. He says she not a problem and then asks us if we'd like to go have our picture taken in front of the Famous Vegas sign. We of course say yes and he heads on out to the sign. We get out and Marc is going crazy taking pictures and setting us up in locations to get the best backdrops. We hop back into the limo and finish off hour Champagne as we are driving up the strip. We snap some more pictures as we are driving and we arrive at the Flamingo. We head to the check-in and line and the line was long but not crazy line. Fifteen minutes or so go by and we're all checked in and heading up stairs to our room. Room 17058. Double Queen beds (no kings were available when we checked in), separate shower and tub/tv in the bathroom, flat screen tv, a mini fridge (non-stocked), and curtains controlled by a switch on the wall. We get settled in unpack a bit and flip the switch to see our view (sorry for the reflection from the room):

So after a little while we decide to get ready and head out for the night. We had plans of meeting up with Sunfire and his gf after their show later on in the night. We head down to the Flamingo Casino and grab a few drinks and head outside towards Bills. We first decide to hit up Cesears Palace. CP is awesome and its huge. We walk around in there for a little bit, taking it all in and grab a bite to eat and a beer at the food court near the Forum Towers. I think we both had quessadillas. Nothing great, but not bad either. On our way through a promoter gives us a couple of passes to Pure for free entry before eleven. We thought about heading in just to check it out, but decided against it and head back across the street to Bills.

We get to Bills and the gf wants to play some slots. We find a couple of slots and try our luck and not much happens. A cocktail waitress stops by and I ask for a beer and the gf orders a rum and coke. Service was quick and I gave the cocktail waitress a nice tip. She asks if I need change and I say no its yours and she says well here have another beer and hands me another off her tray. The rest of the time we were at Bills playing slots she would come back and give us two drinks each it was awesome. So needless to say after we leave bills I'm feeling pretty good. The four beers on the plane, bottle of champagne in the limo, and maybe six or so beers I had at bills were starting to catch up to me. I decide its Go Time, time for me to gamble. I'm not big into slots, but I will enjoy them from time to time, they are easy and mindless and hold my attention for a while. But I was in Vegas and I was ready to take the town for what it was worth. It was Blackjack and Craps time for me. We head over to Bally's then onto Paris to try to land some tables, but nothing really appealed to me at either casino. I really liked the Paris Casino and the cobblestone floor and how the Eiffel Tower comes right into the casino. But no table games yet!... Head on down to Planet Hollywood grab a New Castle on the way in and a Rum n Coke for the gf. We see a wide open craps table and I knew it was go time. I've been teaching my gf how to play craps, and a long time craps superstition is if a girl has never played before she does awesome on her first roll. It took some convincing but the gf was finally ready to play. She was really nervous. I roll first and crap out after a few rolls. Down a little bit. By this time a few more people join the table. The gf picks up the dice and rolls a seven..WINNER!!! I'm starting to get super excited. But it was short lived after that every time she touches the dice she sevens out after establishing her point. Oh well. Time to make it back in Blackjack. Head over to BJ table and try my luck. Start of decent, then the table turns cold quick and hard. The dealer is holding an Ace or face card every hand or outdraws me. I take a hit and leave the tables with with the tail between my legs. So its about 11:30 at this time the gf and I are feeling low. We just got raped by Pho and considered heading to bed. But once we got back out on the strip we knew we couldn't hit the sack. We head back over to Bills and the gf wants to play some more slots. The cocktail waitress remembers us and starts giving us two drinks each again...

About this time Sunfire calls and says he is out of the show and wants to met up. I tell him were at Bills and he agrees to meet us right outside of the Flamingo. We meet up with Sunfire and his gf, and knew this vaca was gonna be awesome. They are such chill people and really know how to party. We walk around getting to know each other and head back down to the Pho shops, because sunfire needed some cranberry juice. Get there and the places are all closed. We then decided to head back over to CP and have a few in Sunfires room. We head up to his kickass room on the top floor of the forum towers and chill. Sunfire mixes up some drinks and we decide to explore the casino. Things start getting a little fuzzy and its late maybe 3:30 in the morning and I've been up for 24 hours and need sleep. We tell sunfire that we're gonna head back and to call us when we meet up. I remember texting sunfire some drunken text on the way back to Flamingo that probably made no sense.. We head upstairs pass out and end our first night in Vegas!

I think you'll like them a lot. They have a nice sound system to hook up your Ipod and the rooms are nice. The location can't be beat your in the middle of everything. I would def stay there again in a heartbeat. Make sure to sign up for the players club if your not a member already.. They'll give u 10 bucks to play in any slot machine or you can just stick the coupon in the machine and cash out and get a free 10 spot.

I really really want to come out for A.O.D. It would be incredible. With only 10 or so JCers out there Vegas was AMAZING.. I couldn't imagine what it would be like with the hall of famers!! It is def def a possibility. I will keep everyone informed, and probably have a set answer by Late Nov.

Drunken Debauchery (Friday, October 30)

I vaguely remember telling Sunfire and his gf that I am waking up at 6:30 in the morning to get the most out of Vegas. They emphatically tell me NOT to call them... So after passing out on Thursday night I really had no intention of getting up @ 6:30am. I was just being a douche. But as it turns out one of my coworkers texts me @ 9:30 eastern time to ask me a question about something at work. I roll out of bed and I'm feeling it bad. My throat is as dry as the desert and I'm all stuffed up. The arid climate def got me. I stumbled over to my phone, type a half assed answer back, bitching about him bothering me in Vegas at 6:30 in the morning, walk like a drunken sailor to the bathroom and guzzle as much water I possibly can. I then proceed back to bed.....10:30 am rolls around and I'm up again. This time feeling much better, but still feeling it. I lay in bed for a few wake the gf up.. who claims she is feeling fine... I decide its best to shower and get ready. I didn't want to waste anytime in the room. I get all freshened up and ready to go and I was near 100%. I come out and the gf says she is feeling hard now. It takes some convincing but I sway her to get ready and explore the town. We're out of the room by 11:15. We walk around the flamingo gardens, which are nice snapping some picture.

The pool looks awesome, but dead as it was still chilly from the night before. I discover they have slides that go from pool to pool and def looked like a fun thing to partake in while your drunk in the summer just chillen...We decide that we need some lunch to help soak up our hangovers. We then text sunfire to see if he is up and wants to meet up. He says they are just getting up and planning on grabbing some lunch over at Mesa at cesears. I said great we're right out front and we'll meet you down in front. The gf and I head inside to wait for Sunfire. We had previously signed up for the players club @ flamingo which is good for all HET properties, and got 10 bucks to use. So we decided that we would let it go while we waited. Nothing too exciting, I think I won 10 bucks and the gf lost hers. Soon enough Sunfire and his gf head down and we proceed to go into Mesa. I had no idea what to expect but Sunfire gf really wanted to try it as it was one of Bobby Flay's restaurant. I thought it EXCELLENT. I had a cajun burger and it came with fries. Both were AWESOME. The gf had a different type of burger and she seemed to enjoy hers as well. I think Sunfire's gf had gotten some taco things, (I'll let him elaborate more on this in his TR) and Sunfire had gotten something that game with an appetizer, entree, and desert. I forget his what his appetizer was, but it looked good. For his entree he had a buffalo burger, and for his dessert he was kind enough to share it with his gf, my gf and myself. It was awesome! We were all stuffed and decided it would be best to walk it off. We wondered through CP and took a picture with Cleopatra (I think) and some Trojans. We walked through the Forum shops and seriously got lost. We caught the End of Atlantis animatronics show. and hit f.a.o. schwartz up. Sunfire then proceeds to hope on this miniature rocking chair...completely sober...and my gf quickly takes a picture... It's HILARIOUS, but we'll just keep that one between ourselves....We FINALLY got out of CP it honestly took us an hour we walked out of some back door entrance by the forum shops and ended up by the parking garage, and eventually onto the vallet.. We then wandered north on the strip doing all the touristy things. We hit Mirage first. I decided it was about time to start to get my drink on. We stopped at right at the entrance of the Mirage with the outside seating. I cannot remember the name of it and got a frozen Margareta. Wandered around and before we took the tram over to T.I. I decided to chug it so I could get a refill. Bad idea! I had the worst brain freeze ever, but nonetheless I got my refill and I was on my way. Sunfire discovered for an extra buck u got an extra shot and it def wasn't one shot it was like double the alcohol.. Well worth it... Anyways we head over to T.I. via the tram.. Walk through T.I. and just as we were leaving we say a huge crowd gathering at the entrance. We get close and its Don King Promoting a fight with two fighters. It was awesome. Took a picture or two of the not the "king" you would think you would see in Vegas.. and we were on our way.

We then continue walking north and decide to go all the way up to Encore. Walk in there and WOW.. what a place. It was amazing.. Then proceeded through the Wynn..over to Palazzo, and into the Venetian. We just took in each hotel and enjoyed exploration. The grand canal at the Venetian really amazed me from an engineering standpoint. Just the fact that they had the whole canal on the second floor and not the first and it was supported by something was astounding to me. But enough on that. By this point our feet were hurting and we were getting worn out. We circle on through on through Harrah's. I had a dream before I went that I won $5200 at harrah's on a slot machine, but didn't have the fibe to try it out that day. I vowed to come back, but never did.. Maybe next time. We wandered through the casino and I really liked it in there. It was real upbeat and bright. Head out of Harrah's and wandered past the Carnival Court and it seemed like a great party going on there. But we were tired and needed to rest up. I picked up a 12 pack of beer and wander back down the hotel. We say bye to sunfire as he and his gf were heading to the bellagio buffet. The gf and I head up to the room to decide on what to grab for dinner. We were tired and just decided on room service. We order a pepperoni and xtra cheese pie, and some potato skins. Total was about 30 bucks after tip.. not bad for room service/vegas prices. The food was average but satisfying. We then just rested up and rocked out to the Vegas Playlist.

Fast forward 5 or 6 beers and I'm excited, fully showered, and ready to go. Head down the casino while the gf is still getting ready. Shoot some dice and play some roulette. I swore off blackjack after my beat down at Pho. Came back exactly even and a little late as the gf was waiting. We proceed to meet up outside the fountains show at the bellagio with sunfire and cab it over to the palms. We get out and hit up the stuff store right away. There was a slight wait to get our bracelets, but soon enough we were off. First thing is first hit up ghostbar and get a look at the view. There was already a line to get in, but we just flashed our bracelets and we went right in. Got our comped entry slip and up we went.. All I can say is WOW! the place was awesome. Sunfire treated us all to my first, but certainly not last (Sat night got bad) Adios MF. We head outside and sit in one of the side booth areas. My gf has like an actual camera and her small digital camera was broke so there is a lack of club picture. I'm hoping sunfire can get his pics up so you can all see..(more on that later).. I took a couple of picture with my phone sent them to me friends back home who decided not to come to make them jealous. Stood on the glass floor and then headed over to Playboy and Moon.

We proceed over to the playboy lines, its full not crazy long, but there was a line. We flash our bracelets and boom were in. We got sent into the line to pay cover at the window and sunfire yells over to one of the bouncers. Yo we got bracelets he immediately comes over and lifts the rope mid line and up we went. Bracelets rock! Up At playboy I bought Sunfire and his gf a couple of gooses and cranberry to make up for the Adios's and I got a couple of captain n cokes for the gf and myself. We walked around for a little bit, but it was super crowded and decided to hit Moon. We got to moon right when it was opening so we got a prime spot on the second balcony. I think this view was better than Ghostbar. Snapped a picture with camera phone, and sunfire got some with his gf good camera. Hang out for a bit and head on down to rain for hosted bar.

The line outside of rain was INSANE, and I was def feeling it already and I knew it would be a great night. We went up to the bouncer and flashed the bracelets, and he sent us into a small like of 4 or 5 other people with bracelets. We wait maybe 30 seconds and the ropes lift and the bouncer announces all wristbands and we were instantly in. Rain was already packed, and we head straight to the hosted bar on the top floor right behind the DJ booth. The bar is in the skybox area with a couple of tables in front of it. We order a couple of drinks and I hook one of the bartender's Patrick up with a nice tip. He then mixes up extra strong drinks the rest of the night and service was QUICK. Take care of your bartenders they appreciate it and will show you their appreciation. The skybox area is insane you have a panoramic view of the entire place. We tried to sit at one of the empty tables but the bouncer kicked us out. He was kind of a douche about it, but later let the girls sit there. But as soon as I tried to sit down he would be over ASAP and make me get up. Not that big of a deal as long as the ladies can sit. We met some crazy girl up there named Johnny who was GONE and she was a lot of fun.

Eventually we grow tired of the cranberries and champagne and ask our bartender to make us up something.

He gives us a "patrick" and it was delicious. It was some kinda pineapple mix thing. We decide to head down to the dance floor and dance the night away. At some point the gf takes her shoes off cuz her feet are killing from her boots.. and proceeds to go clubbing in her socks. At this point its all becomes a blur and at some point she lost her socks. We grab one final drink from the bar and head back down to kill the night. The gf can't finish her drink and tries to give it to a gay guy. He thinks she is trying to ruphie him, and won't take it until she drinks some. So she does and he tries the "patrick" and loves it. He keeps coming back around and talking to us and its a good time. At some point we bounce. Sunfire is taking the alcohol HARD and needs to hit the restroom up before hitting the cab. He is gone FOREVER, his gf asks me to go find him and I go on a search. Check the nearest bathrooms and nothing can't find him. Apparently he wandered back and they are trying to call me so we can leave. I'm either too drunk to feel my phone vibrate, or just can't hear it...I spend about 15 minutes looking for sunfire before I go back and he is there, and hurting... I had no idea where he went. but it was all good we were together and we head over to the taxi line and its crazy long. We wait and wait and sunfire's gf notices the bellhops aren't filling all the cabs and letting a bunch of cabs go empty. She ducks outta line and goes up to a cab and asks if we get in. The cabbie says yes and we start to go in. The bellhop see us doing this and yells at us and we get thrown back in line. A few minutes later we hop in a cap. Its my gf, sunfire, and his gf in the back and I'm upfront in the front. The cabbie is driving and I'm trying to follow the road lines and everything is spinning. Apparently the seatbelt alarm has being going of for like 10 minutes and I didn't no it. My girlfriend had to tap me on the shoulder and yell @ me to point my seatbelt on. We make it to flamingo and I look back to say bye to sunfire and his gf and he is OUT.... we say bye to the his gf and thank her for the cab ride over to flamingo before going back they head back to CP. I have no idea how he made it back to the room. But he is the man and took full advantage of Friday. But thats ok I was worse on Saturday.....

In the end it was an awesome night and one I won't forget for a long time. I'll let sunfire tell you about incident with the camera if he chooses. :p

Pilgrims (Saturday, October 31):

I wake up around 12:30 and feel like I got run over by a train. I look over at the gf and she is struggling as well. We lay in bed for a while and eventually decide its time to get ready. The girlfriend then proceeds to tell me that I was so drunk when I got home I was rolling around in bed and growling at her like a rabid dog or raccoon or something. I call BS on her, cuz I have no recollection of this. But she confirms this did happen... We decide to move on out and explore the south end of the strip. We head to the Bellagio and explore. The conservatory is awesome and they had a great fall display with giant pumpkins and what not. We need food so hit up the snacks shop over @ the Bellagio. I order a chicken wrap and the girlfriend gets a BLT. Sunfire calls and tells us he is in the lobby and well wait until were done eating. We finish up and go and meet with him. We give him a hard time for the night before and have a good laugh. We then cab it down to Mandalay Bay to explore. He got a CRAZY cab driver that was bitching the whole time and laying on the horn...dude had problems. We get out and explore MB. Its huge and they had a slot tournament going on, and all these crazy old people were pounding away at their slot machines. It was interesting to watch. While at MB I completely forgot that Minus 5 was there, which I really wanted to check out. But that didn't happen. Next time I suppose. We then Tram it over to the Luxor. We walked around with the Luxor and decided to gamble a little bit. Sunfire persuaded his gf to shoot some dice. The whole superstition of the first time girl craps shooter didn't pan out for her as well, and I left down 50 bones. I head to the restroom while the others go try their luck at Roulette. I come back and I notice on the board that a red number has come up 5 or 6 times in a row. I ask sunfire's gf how she is making out and she says she is down, and has been betting black. I give her my sympathy and right as we're about to leave I throw ten down on black, and sure enough it hits. I press the win up again on black and lay it down ten on the far right aisle bet. Black six comes up and I win both bets and back to even. Too bad sunfire's gf didn't want to gamble anymore... I'm thirsty and we head to the bar to grab a coke and couple of waters for the girls. We order and the bar tender makes up show us our id's. I didn't understand why and he was a real dick about it. We get our coke, and two waters. My gf then proceeds to spill her entire water all over the bar haha. The bartender refilled her drink and we were on our way. We head on the tram to Excalibur, didn't end in and walked over to NY NY. We head in and the three others needed to hit up the washroom. They leave and I'm just sitting at a slot machine. I look across the aisle and I notice this old old man rubbing his hands all over the slot and talking to it. I'm obviously intrigued and continue to watch as he sweet talks this machine. Sure enough three spins later dude hits for like 300 bucks. The others come out and we head out. Swing by the sportsbook to see if my Buckeyes covered against New Mexico State, which they did, and find another Buckeye fan from Ohio. Talk to him for a minute and we bounce over to MGM. We go check out the lions and decide its about time to cab it back home. We cab it back to CP and plan to meet up with sunfire and his gf around 9. Before heading back to the room the gf and I decide to take on the Eiffel Tower Experience. We get there before 7:30 and I had a coupon for 2 for 1. Total cost 10 bucks and totally worth it. We head up the elevator and take a look around. Got to watch a fountain show and take bunch of pictures. It was an awesome view and I def recommend it for the price.

The gf and I head back down and walk back over to the Flamingo. We see some good costumes along the way. One kid was dressed up as grass and I thought it was pretty funny.

We get back into the room and I look in the minifridge and notice I have four beers left from last night. I was planning on taking it easy this night because we had to be outta the room by eleven, but figured I would at least drink the beers so they didn't go to waste. I end up drinkin two while I was getting ready...We get into our costumes and were ready to leave...

I grab the other two for the road for my gf and I. We head down the elevator and into the casino. There is a group of four old people standing outside of the elevators just people watching. They announce "Oh look at the pilgrims!!" and give us the their approval of the idea. We thank them and one of the 75 year old ladies see the scarlet letter my gf attached to her dress. She then says "Oh look at you with your scarlet letter.. You naughty girl you!" and creeps out my gf. It was hilarious... We head out the casino and across the walkway. By the time we're across the walkway I had finished my beer and decided to drink my gf's as well. We head into cesears and grab a couple of slices of pizza and two beers. Head up to sunfire room and get ready to leave. When we get up there sunfire's gf is watching bring it on and getting ready. Sunfire tells us he needs to finish off about half his bottle of hypnotic before we leave cuz he can't bring it back with him. He asks if we want some incredible hulks. We of course say yes and I end up putting down three before we leave. So my whole plan of taking it easy is basically shot. We cab it over to the Wynn. Sunfire hooked up with Patrick Frank from the JC host list and he really hooked us up. The line was INSANE and sunfire just went up to one of the bouncers talked to him and we were in.. No line no cover. BOOM! It was AWESOME!! Thanks Patrick and thanks Sunfire! We get in and the place is PACKED already. We walk over and order a couple of Adios MF's and proceed to check them out. The people that where at Tryst were awesome. We we're just talking to random people and having a great time. We head out by the waterfall for a while and we're really digging the vibe. At some point my shoe become untied so I asked my gf if she could tie it. She hands me her drink and ties it up. Two guys standing next to us were laughing so hard, they came up and talked to me and where like "Man, you play the part of the era well. That is awesome!" I laughed and realized what they meant. I had no real intention of this I just wanted my shoe tied.

We walk around some more and eventually end up by the stripper pole. There are a couple of girls up there and we watch. A crazy dude hopes up there and goes nuts and was actually pretty entertaining/funny. A bouncer see him up there runs over and tells him only girls can go up. The girls hop back up and try to get my gf to go up...but she declined. We need some refills and go to the bar beside the stripper pole. The bartender pours four STRONG Adios's and we're on our way. Its about time the drinks start saying Adios MF to me cuz I barely remember anything after this point. I know at some point we walked around and meet up with the rest of the JCers. I vaguely remember meeting LovesVegas and WishIwasinVegas and CashKrew and Sydney girl. I remember going to get another adios for LovesVegas and myself. Stumble back and don't remember much. At some point my pilgrim hat was getting passed around and sunfire wants to get a long island. I say I'm down and get another one.. The last time I looked at the clock it was about 12:30. I ask my gf wat time it was and its like 3:15. So almost four hours had gone by (extra hour cuz of the clocks going back) and I couldn't remember hardly anything from it at all. I'm feeling really bad and knew I had to leave cuz I was going to be sick. I wanted to stay but the gf convinced me that we needed to leave before I got sick and the wheelchair exit out. I oblige say our goodbyes and leave. I remember the taxi line was long and we waited maybe 15/20 minutes and just as we were about to get in four scandalously dressed asian girls try to hope the next cab and get denied. I was so happy cuz I needed to get home. I don't remember much of the taxi ride back or going up the elevator. We finally get into the room and I head straight for the bathroom. After what seems like an eternity I crawl into bed and I'm out... Went out with a bang my last night in Vegas....

I sincerely apologize to all the JCers if I somehow ruined ur night at tryst. I remember at one point some old man at a table pushed my girlfriend for getting to close his table. I didn't see it happen, but I know when she told me about it I was upset. I don't think I did anything about it tho. Sunfire will have to elaborate and fill in the details of Saturday night cuz I have very few recollections.

ComAtose to follow momentarily. It will not be as detailed as the other three days cuz I literally thought I was going to die and really don't remember too much from the morning.

Comatose (Sunday, November 1):

At about ten o'clock my gf tries to wake me up and I want no part of it. I feel the worst I have ever felt in my life from a night drinking. My breathing is shallow and I can't see straight. I go back to bed. About 10:40 my girlfriend wakes me up again and says we need to go. I ask her what time it was she tells me and I muster up everything I got to get packed. I look around and she was such a sweetheart and had packed everything up and left my clothes for the day out for me. I brush my teeth and take the walk of shame down to the check-out line. Its long and I can barely stand. Just then we remember that we left a 25 dollar TITO ticket for the bellagio in the room. The gf says she will run up and get it. She comes back down and says she couldn't find it. I check my pocket and it was in there. I didn't remember picking it up on the way out. We finally get up to the counter and check out. We head over to the bellhop and check our bags in for them to give to us as we leave. The bellhop, a cool ass middle age dude, looks at me and says "damn son, you have a rough night last night" I just look up and nod and my girlfriend proceeds to tell him all about it. He loved it and we shared some laughs. He takes our bags and tells us to come back real soon. We decide to head to the Bellagio to get our 25 bucks. We get there and I'm miserable. Everything is blurry and I'm just struggling. I drank two bottles of water on the way and still couldn't quench my thirst. The gf wants to check out Tiffany's and we do.. Check out the rings and where on our way.. We decide to grab some food again at the snack shop at the Bellagio. I order a BTL and I forget what the gf orders. I'm sitting at the counter waiting for the food to be ready with my head on the counter just hating life. Just then I realized I needed to go the restroom cuz I was going to be sick. I tell my gf I'm gonna be sick and needed to go to the bathroom. She asks if I want her to come with me and I say no I'll be fine and just to wait for the food. I book it out of the shop and find the nearest bathroom. I'm literally speed walking through the casino trying to find a restroom, because the feeling was getting worse. I finally find one and run into one of the stalls. I do my business and walk out with my head held in shame. I notice to older gentlemen wearing blazers and staring at me. The conversation proceeds as such:

Older man #1 - Rough Night last night?
Me - Yeah, you have no idea
Older man #2 - ::laughs:: how old are you son?
Me - 23....
Older man #2 - ::laughs:: Man what I would give to be 23 and be in Vegas again.
I laugh
Older man #1 - Man don't worry about it, it just means you did it right last night.
I laugh and continue cleaning myself up. Say goodbye and goodluck to them and head back to get my food. I pound the food and we decide to go cash out ticket it. On the way to the cashier we see a wide open craps table and the gf asks if she can try her luck again. I say sure and we walk up and drop a couple bills down and away we go. I crap out and I'm thinking this was a bad idea. The gf picks up the dice and goes nuts. Hits maybe 3 or 4 winners on the come out roll and maybe 4 points. Finally after about 20 minutes she craps out... We collect our winnings tip the crew and we were on our way... Just then sunfire calls and says he is at the bellagio and wants to say goodbye. We meet up and I apologize for the night before. We ask them how their night ended up and Sunfire explains he got hooked up with some people and got a limo ride somewhere and a bunch of free drinks (I'll let him elaborate on this)... We finally say our goodbyes and we have about an hour to kill before heading to the limo... The girlfriend needs to hit the restroom so we walk over and I sit at a slot machine. I saw f it stick my 25 dollar ticket in. The gf comes back in a sec right as I'm in the bonus round. Cash out and play a few more slots.. We wander back to the flamingo and I'm still hurting. I still can't see straight and I'm still so thirsty. We try out luck at craps and didn't fair so well. We then walk over to the Roulette wheel and place a bet...Double Zero comes up and I know its time to go. We head down to the rotunda crab our bags and hop in the limo that's waiting for us. I start feeling sick again in the limo and just lay back, we get to the airport and check in. Make it through security. Try to eat some more but I couldn't but anything down. Eventually hop on the plane and I was like the picture Patrick posted.. Just miserable on the plane. It was the longest flight of my life. I felt so sick and my heart was racing and I honestly thought I might die. We finally land and we deboard.. about 10 minutes later i realize my phone fell outta my pocket and must be on the plane. We scramble back to the plane and I ask if I can check to see if my phone is there. I find it squished in between the two seats and we head home. I was out cold as soon as I hit the sack and up for work the next day @ 7.

Postscript:

I just want to thank all the JCer who contributed to my trip, not only the ones the we met but the ones that gave me advice beforehand. It was truly a wonderful experience and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you. I'm in love with Vegas and can't wait to hit it up again. To the JCers I met, especially sunfire and his gf thanks for everything. Without you guys we would not of had nearly the experience we did. JCers from Saturday night, even though I don't remember much, what I do remember is how you hooked it up and I know I had a great time because of your generosity and hospitality!!! A.O.D!

In all actuality, my girlfriend and I had this conversation last night. We got talking and both agreed that Yeah it would have been crazy fun to go with our friends, but we wouldn't of had more fun for sure. We mighta been able to have as much fun, but I doubt it. Going just as two of us, we needed to rely on the JCers and the JCers hooked it up HARD... so to answer your question I would def say less fun. Everything happens for a reason and it works out in the end...

haha yea thats true..it really depends on the girl. My gf used to go go dance, so its no biggie for her to be up there. Shes thinks its the funnest job ever. As long as I m entertained whenever I want to be entertained.. I m good with it. Last time I was just doing shots with the JC boys, while she was dancing away.
