Hi all, been reading the site for some time but never posted. It's helped me out loads and read some great advise. I've got my second trip to Vegas coming up in a few weeks and been reading some trip reports to get in the mood and really enjoying them. Thought i'd post my trip report from May as best I can remember incase anyone enjoys it half as much as I have been enjoying reading others.

My first Vegas trip was arranged for 6 nights in May, during the Hatton V Pacquiao fight which we had tickets for. Traveling was myself, my brother and a friend. We stayed at the Imperial Palace, for the price we paid it was fine but dont think i'd stay there again.

Traveling from London, UK with Continental, happy with the airline but could have done with a direct flight instead of having to connect. Connected at Houston, and during that 3 hour flight to Vegas we wasted no time getting on the jack and cokes. Arrived feeling surprisingly good considering the 15 hours traveling, probably because I was half smashed and finally in Vegas!!

Got to the hotel and got us all upgraded, unpacked, and within half hour we were exploring the strip at about 9pm. We stopped off in several bars, drinking quite a bit and trying to take it all in. At about 2am the long travelling had taken its toll on the other two so we headed back to the hotel to sleep. Once there I got in my room and was buzzing with excitment, and no way wanted to sleep! So decided to go back out to play some poker, the other two dont play so thought it'd be the ideal time to play a few hands while they were being lightweight! I went to O'Sheas and sat at a 2-4 cash game, taking advantage of the free drinks. I was down about $400 at one point but found myself even at about 6am so called it a night and cashed out and hit the sack.

Thursday-
Woke up about 11am and went off to find the other two. Didn't need to call as I bumped into them at the bar downstairs. Grabbed a coffee and went off to MGM to pick up our fight tickets. Got something to eat and carried on exploring the strip drinking along the way. The day was just spent wandering about getting smashed and enjoying every second. Early evening we went back to sort ourselves out as me and my bruv had a reservation at Okada, then we were off to Tao and bottle service. My bruv loves sushi and I hadn't really tried it much before, the restaurant was class but decided sushi wasn't really my thing, I was looking forward to SteakCraft the next night. Met up with Ad who was topping up at a nearby bar, had a drink then headed off to Tao at about 10.30pm. Met Larson outside, got straight in and was given a table in the walkway outside the main club part. Wasn't overly pleased but he apparently couldn't do any better even after I put $100 his way. He said he'd see what he could do later if we still wanted to move so I left it as that. We ordered a bottle of Goose and some mixers and proceeded to get fcuked! During the night we'd done the vodka and ordered a second bottle. We had fun and Ad danced about like a loon! Out of the few clubs we visited though this was my least favourite, just too damn dark and didn't rate the way it was set out much. I cant remember how I got back to the hotel, one minute I was in the club, next I woke up at the hotel the next day.

I was there that weekend too. There were a lot of Brits, Irish, and Scottish people there. It was a blast!!

Friday-
When I woke up lunchtime I walked next door to my bruvs room to find out what the fcuk happened last night. He said I was there at about 3am but just disappeared, uh well probably will never know whether I just left or got thrown out lol. He then proceeded to tell me the events after I done a disappearing act. Apparently some clown come out of knowwhere and dived head first into our table knocking the drinks all over the gaff, then Ad spent half hour trying to persuade the staff to give another bottle even though there was sod all left and he could hardly stand! The friendly staff ended up sorting them out a few drinks. By the time they left the club my bruv had to literally carry Ad back to the hotel, having to stop at every person they passed so Ad could tell 'em he loved 'em, every time he let go Ad fell flat on his face. At this point im pissing myself laughing! Jay got him to the door and let Ad inside, he then proceeded to fall several times nutting the drawers, bedside cabernet etc until Jay picked his sorry ass up and lobbed him on the bed!!

After I finished pissing myself I went and knocked on Ad's room, after several minutes he answered wearing all his clothes from the night before including jacket and shoes, and a nice couple of bumps on his bonce! After sorting ourselves out we headed to MGM for the weigh-in. Atmosphere was great and really enjoyed it. After that we grabbed something to eat and went back to the pool to chill for a bit and enjoyed a few mojito's.

Evening came so we tarted ourselves up and headed to SteakCraft for a quality steak, meal was great. That evening was spent moving around the bars and ended up at carnival square for quite a while which was cool. We hit the sack in the early hours.

Saturday -
Got up mid-morning and went to wake Jay up. We both went and knocked on Ad's door but no answer. I gave him a buzz and he was out and about with a couple of guys smashed out his face. Turns out he didn't go to bed last night and carried on through. Arranged to meet them downstairs at the bar. We arrived to find them totally fcuked. The two guys Ad was with were Chris who was a local and Mark from the UK, both cool guys. After about 15 minutes of chatting and us taking the piss we arranged to meet them at the pool while me and Jay had a walk around and got some food at the Peppermill. Back at the pool we had an entertaining afternoon drinking and meeting and chatting to cool people.

Late afternoon we freshened up and headed to the MGM for the big fight! Just before going in I bought a massive margarita, which I was sick of by the time I got near the end. The atmosphere was electric and I was buzzing! Was gutted with the result but what an awesome punch that finished Hatton! I have always liked Pacquiao but the way he finished Hatton there proved to me he is superb at any weight and will definately go down as a legend. Wasn't going to let that ruin the trip even though it was a bit of a downer.

Heading out of the arena it was obviously rammed, and as Ad was in a different part of the arena for the fight we arranged to meet him at the hotel as we were going to the rooms to change before going to Palms and ultimately Perfecto at Rain. We knocked on Ad's door and tried to call but no answer. Later found out the toll of being up since Friday morning drinking like a fish had caught up with him and he was comatosed in bed.

Me and Jay went to Palms and as we had all access passes we paid a visit to Ghost bar for a drink first which was cool, supping a drink looking out over Vegas. We then got straight into Rain and what can I say, we thought it was awesome! My kind of music and thought the whole "show" was great. Think it was about 4am when Jay wanted to leave but I was having none of it and told him not to worry and go back, I was staying a while longer. Next thing I know i'm back in my room with a tart....then slept.

Sunday -
Woke up mid-morning and we all went to the Peppermill for Brunch. Today we were supposed to all go on a Grand Canyon trip, but me and Jay felt too rough to go so Ad ended up going on his own while we went back to sleep for a few hours.

When Ad got back we all went to the pool and for a change got smashed! We met up with Chris and Mark and had a quality afternoon drinking cocktails and having fun with everyone round the pool. That evening Mark shifted off as he was going home. Me, Jay, Ad and Chris went to change, grab some food and hit the bars. I remember being in Nine Fine Irishmen, Coyote Ugly, V Bar and Carnival Court. At Carnival Court Ad was in a bad way and lost the power to speak so I walked him back to his room and went back to meet the others where I left them.

We moved on because next thing I know we were in a casino chatting to some people from CA. I could smell the herb and mentioned it, one of them pulled out a smoke, I had a few drags then proceeded to have a white out for a couple of hours! Was really struggling for a while as we were walking about the strip. Once I came round we went to the Palms and spent the rest of the night at Playboy and Moon clubs.

Monday-
Bit of a boring day really. We were due to fly home early the following morning and the trip had caught up with us somewhat. Spent the day, wandering about taking some pictures and chilling by the pool. In the evening I just ordered room service and laid in the room watching the box and being lazy.

Tuesday-
Got up, packed, went to Peppermill yet again for food (liked this place lol), walked back to hotel, grabbed luggage and caught cab to airport.:(


I'll be in Vegas in 18 days!! Going for 6 nights and staying at the Mirage. Going with just Ad this trip and he's adamant he's taking it easier this trip as he cant remember fcuk all of the last one! lol

Got plans to definately go Ditch Friday, Perfecto and Rehab. Then leave the rest to chance. Maybe see some of you peeps there. :D
