Don't have a boat, but I've also never been so I guess we're just chillin. I think it's going to be crowded.

I've done that - no fear! I've worn my Phillies gear in the old Shea before, but Philadelphians are a hardy bunch - we can take whatever trash Noo Yawkers try to throw at us! But... I'll be up there for a buddy's birthday & the PSU opener, so the Eagles green could be out of place (I'd wear a Phils cap, but that would be just rubbing it in the face of the Mutt fans).

yeah muts fans are weak though!! I went to the Gmen/ eagles playoff game a few years back and I saw a guy wearing an eagles jacket and they literally stripped him naked and tore his jacket to shreds where there was nothing but white feathers flying round......it was actually sad....its one thing to torment the guy but to do what they did was just wayyyy out of line

thats good!! I go to the USC/ND game every year and when its in cali ill go wearing my ND jersey and they really are the most gracious rivalry opponents one can actually ask for, most of them simpy say youve hasd your time now its our time, the tables will turn again....which I can respect......what drives me nuts is when people wear a jersey of a team thats NOT playing....wtf??

I went LDW last year and have no deisre to ever do that again. Way too crowed everywhere I went and I encountered way too many idiots as well. I'll be spinning in the clubs friday, saturday & sunday nights, while enjoying margarittas. Then doing the family cookout thing on monday.:)

Are you going this year in South Bend? We might need to meet up for this. I have to go to at least one game this year, and this might be the best one to go to i'm thinking.

Did alright at the PA Derby yesterday - hit two exctas and one winner, so finished up a couple racks. Deviated from studying the past performance sheets and just picked numbers the whole day... Worked for one day, but I wouldn't suggest it long-term!

I completely agree with that! I go to Charger's games and always see a few guys with a Raiders jersey on but were not even playing them! Craziest part is their cheering the Charger's on!

I cannot just pick posts or numbers for the life of me...I NEED the sheets (best $30 youll ever spend) they only sell them at one place in vegas at the LV cigar co off the strip and Im always too lazy to go get them....and wynn has the online sheets but I have no idea where to get them

I won't deny that at all, but thought this was funny...

I was at the Chargers/Seahawks pre-season game in SD and I noticed this guy being escorted to his seat by security. Couldn't have been someone important, because we were WAY up in the nosebleeds. Turns out he's a season ticket holder, but a die-hard Raiders fan, so he needs a security escort to his seat every game!

Ah, well, my father's been teaching me - he's great at reading them, being an ol' track guy. I can do well at times, but last minute I'll fall prey to trying to bet for value instead of the wins. I did hit the exacta for the Belmont [picked the trifecta, but didn't bet it...] and the winner for the Kerntucky derby [na, just kidding - I only wished I had bet Mine That Bird! Huge payout that day]

You do know you can get sheets cheap off drf.com, right? It's something like $2 & change if you're just looking for one track.

No problem! I never actually seen Ragozin's Sheets - checked out their website and viewed a sample... I don't know, seems to take a whole lot of the fun out of reading the past performances, bloodlines, and prep runs.

Dude - Is Monday night's game gonna be sick or what? If I'm not mistaken, our first ever game was a 44-0 trouncing of the raiduhs in Balboa Park? Since we're celebrating the 50th season, perhaps a repeat is in order?

Seeing how their team looks right now.... I can see that happening! I'm debating on putting some cash on the game too.
