By now Im sure that most of you are aware that our member Trunks participated in the Tuff-N-Uff MMA fights on this past saturday.

Let me tell you: It was an A-W-E-S-O-M-E experience and Trunks did a great job. I happened to be lucky enough to corner mike for the fight. The preparation that he put in for this fight was just flat out unblievable and it certainly paid off.

it was definitley very interesting when I got a text message as we were about to walk out to the ring from my wife saying that she was watching the fights and my daughter happened to wake up and see what mommy was watching and when she found out that she was going to see daddy she starts crying saying (and im typing exactly hat the message says) "I dont want my daddy in las vegas, hes gonna get dead" she thought that i was the one fighting and was very concerned because the fight preceeding Trunks one of the fighters happened to get tossed out if the ring.

Trunks had overcome alot of adversity to make this fight happen, and it included having to move up in weight class from 155 to 170 and when the bell rang he came out guns blazing, and was literally 3/8 of an inch away from kicking his opponents head off, but in the flurry of action and blows his opponent happened to land a shot to the cheek and the glove caused a gash. at the end of the round when Trunks came back to the corner we looked at the gash asked him if he could continue and he was good to go, but the doctor came to look at it and wouldnt allow him to continue. so as it doesnt go down as a "W" it is def a fight to build confidence on. Trunks was trooper, did an awesome job and should be commended for his efforts!!!

he really did want to go back out and fight too, but it was just too risky and the doc wasnt gonna let it happen, you could see the fat from his cheek, the doc said next it would be the cheekbone.....but trunks was desperately trying to convince the dr to no avail

Thanks Ny, had fun hanging with you. Glad you enjoyed the fight experience, having you in my corner along with the rest of the guys helped calm me before the fight. Vegas is the nightclub capital, but it's also the fight capital, so to be able to fight on such a huge card was amazing and a big boost for my career. It wasn't my best performance, but it was good enough to impress the organization. I watched the fight on the webcast when i got back and the announcers loved me. Got an open invitation to fight for that org whenever i want so i'll definately be fighting in vegas again, I might owe my fans here at home a texas debut before i can do that.

Great to hear! An impressive debut, even if a loss due to stoppage, is all you can ask for when starting out.
