I don't know any others than yelp, but I noticed the same. But if it comes down to the Las Vegas clubbing scene I'll stick to Jack Colton.com. If you use all the tipps you get from this site, you wont have anything to complain for after your Vegas trip.

Not completely true. You guys should check out my Vegas list. Its pretty much 75% 5 or 4 stars. I just tell it like how it is..and Tao Beach did suck for the regular joe, but I also said please don't consider this opinion if you have tables cause you will have a great time. Depends whos reviewing I guess. I love Yelp, eventhough their mods are douches and I could careless about their elite sausage fest status.

Usually the cynics are the ones quick to post their opinions. But I gave Yelp some good reviews of the places I ate in Vegas this summer.

Ive been to some other clubs that are not huge per say but i still enjoy myself. There are too many factors to judge a good fun night.

- Line how long does it take? Did you arrive early or late? did you not plan the taxi line wait?
- drinks - price? too expensive? best price?
- Friends - their mood, positive? your mood? pissed? drunk?
- Dancing - stuck up people? friendly people? did you dance?
- Dress code - did you pass? did you get denied? did you prepare?
- did you have fun? - most important rating.

While the bold items are the obvious, the rest are sub factors that will influence the main items .. but these extra sub factors are usually out of our control.

This can get bad for people who are inexperienced with Vegas and well they take their frustrations out on their lack of knowledge. as you get better with Vegas these variables seem dont seem as bad and can be controlled a bit more.

I recall going to Pure and having fun.

One word: waterfall.
It makes Tryst amazing... especially in the midst of the swarm of drunkards. There was NO WAY anyone could move around.

My girls and I got invited to a table with bottle service, stayed for a few drinks, then wanted to split... and in turn the guy whose table it was STOLE our purses because we didn't want to stay! We spent the better part of an hour trying to track them down, and eventually a guard gave them back to us.
After asking where they were, he simply stated, "Just be happy you have them back." THEN, one of the guys at the table "coincidentally" had my friend's camera in his pocket.
NOT COOL.

I know this isn't the club's fault, but right after this incident happened my friends and I wanted to get the fuck out of there.

On the other hand, the benefits were that we got right into the clubs, got some of our guy friends in with no charge (rare in Vegas), had fun on the pole and on top of tables, and the outside area with the waterfall was breathtaking.
