Why is Darryll banned again?

I heard he got banned while I was IN Vegas and I guess he worked out that misunderstanding but I see that he is banned again....What's the deal?

I haven't been able to write my TR thanking him for everything he did for us out there, but I assure you this guy is genuine and a good person.

I know at least 5 or 6 other JC members that met him can vouch. He walked 25 of us into TAO thursday....alone. I hung out with Darryll EVERY day of my trip. At our room, all the clubs... He walked myself and a couple friends into countless clubs....12 different ones I think was the finally tally, all FREE, all with less than a 5 minute wait if that.

Hrm... He seemed to careful to state he wasn't soliciting for accounts and actually helpful in his postings, providing information more than clutter most of the time. Should affiliation with PPI be the kiss of death if the person was innocuous?

Hmm...I'd love to see his post because I met him there and he was soooo far from Shady. In fact, at WS on weds when he got us the b1g1, I told him I was waiting for a check the next day but i'd take care of him, we just might have to make it a light night out after BS and he said "man, have fun tonight,dont even worry about it, you can take care of me whenever".

Lots of crap happens when im out in Colorado with limited internet access. I missed this as well. Seemed like a genuine guy on the boards, but if DNix has legitimate issues i trust his info.

I met with Darryl on thursday and he walked me my friend and a huge group (including Darryl, Aaron and Ankit) in within maximum 5 minutes. We didn't have to pay cover and everything worked perfect.

So from my side I cant say bad word recording Darryl.

Hey guys, this is Ranjit; me and Ankit rolled to Vegas with 4 other buddies. I have to vouch for Darryll here also. He definitely hooked it up for Aaron, Warren, Ankit, Patrick, myself and a bunch of our friends throughout last weekend. At WS, at Tao, at Drais, etc. Seemed like a really cool, friendly guy; and I can usually detect a bullshit artist.

I know Michael from PPI (platinum passports) was a real scumbag, but Darryll was extremely professional in all our dealings with him.

I'm going to vouch for Daryl as well. he got my and the rest into Tao together and he was really nice. He didn't seem pushy at all. And although he does offer services, he never pm'd me about them without me asking first.

While Darryl genuinely seemed nice, gave good responses, and I never saw him solicit, those who came before him with the company he is apparently associated with burned that bridge, and to a GREAT extent. It's a shame that it worked out that way, as he seems to be legit, but that's how it goes sometimes.

In some ways yes it is. Michael told a lot of lies, made a lot of threats, and was generally hostile towards the forum. At one point he even posted a members private info because of an argument in a thread, only to retract it later. This was information given to him by that person because they were thinking about using his services. That can not be tolerated here, and says a lot about a company. There are too many things too mention. The worst part is, he was banned and then given a second chance but continued down that path.

I don't have anything personal against Darryl and usually enjoyed reading his posts, however I just don't trust anyone associated with that company. When a guy is giving advice claiming to be a Vegas local, running a company in Vegas, and winds up being from Minnesota you have to be skeptical of him and anyone working with him. It appears that is the case here.

Again, I hope that if Darryl was good to you that you use him again in the future as he seems to be a legit local. I hope this helps clear things up for people though.

i cant say a single bad thing bout daryll either - he hooked us up (warren, aaron, ranjit, ellejay, patrick, dustin, etc) every night we were there. i dont know about his past but what i do know is that he delivered everything he promised on + MORE. he is a man of his word. he's a good resource and I'm sure any of us will share his contact info with others who want it.

I got ya, and I appreciate your time as well. I just know this guy isn't like those other scumbags. Like I said, I hung out with him my entire trip, he chilled in our room, he drove us around everywhere in his car, I met some of his friends, shit, on our last day the guy even invited us to his house for a bbq! haha Either way.

Secondly, I only found this thread as I was looking to find Darryl and ask him to help out with my trip next week - After reading reports from p-t-r-ck and Ellejay and others, he seemed like a sound guy. To be honest, I'd like his email from someone so I can get in touch myself and make an informed decision.

I know there are hosts on the JC site and I have contacted these with regard to guestlists etc, but I really don't want to be waiting in a guestlist queue still and would like to walk straight in.

OK guys, heres the deal!! I am not getting involved with the drama, I have done my homework on all of the information that I have recieved and I was the one who absolutely verified that Darryll IS affiliated to PPI, and if not at this exact moment he has been in the past......which I wouldnt have had such a problem with if he didnt lie on the forum about knowing Mike, because he has been affiliated with PPI in the past or currently he would have to know the "sumbag mike" (in his words) and I have solid solid proof to back up my statement which I will not be providing to members here, but it will be provided to Jack and dnix and will be discussed amongst the moderators and administrators.

I understand that he has been a very gracious host for some of our members and we want to provide our members with the utmost of services and professionalism to make their vegas excursions as top notch as possible, but we also have a duty to protect our members, as well as the site to ensure no one gets ripped of and the JC.com forum remains atop the vegas nightlife scene. The problem will be cured shortly and a ruling will be made and everyone will be notified of our outcome.

Can't get fairer than that I guess, look forward to hearing the outcome.

I have to share this with you guys just for the fact that it is so f'n weird and fits in with this. I had a dream last night that someone from PPI sent me another e-mail full of trash talk. I logged in to the forums to forward it to NYC and DNIX and right when I was about to send it, I woke up. So I looked at my phone to see what time it was and noticed I had a bunch of new e-mail. I scroll down and what do I see? New private message from JC member. Freaked me out a bit when I read that. I checked it and it was DarinG offering me the same crap ashroid got. So I log in today, and notice you guys are already on top of it. Pretty freaky.

Every time I think of Platinum Passports (and each time is one too many), I can't help but to think of herpes and how its never REALLY gone. haha :p

My take on the situation is basically....

1) Out of necessity, we put in place the rule against indy hosts using the forum community to promote their business in any way because of problems with spam, misleading readers, headaches, and overall pointless drama in the past.

2) Because of said problems....any indy host who is on here, even one who is participating within the rules, is automatically going to be watched like a rumored sex offender in Church camp (haha), and any minor slip up might lead to them being being banned without much debate. Furthermore, it doesn't make much sense for someone who works as an indy host to be routinely taking total strangers out to nightclubs out of the sheer kindness of their heart. :D Seems like something is definitely not right there...

3) I 100% trust the moderators and their decisions on anything to do with banning members for any reason they see fit, and am really glad to see that they are making such an effort to figure out the right thing on this.

Again, thanks for all that you guys do. I appreciate you guys looking out for myself and everyone else.

I hope the discussion goes well and Darryll is given an opportunity to continue to contribute to the community. I had a great time with him and he went above and beyond my expectations and I doubt any VIP host could have even came close.

I understand what you and JC are saying but you also have to remember that these VIP hosts are people too and they like to party just as much as the next guy. It's not going to always be about money. I don't think that what happened with my friends and I is really typical. I mean, nice guy or not if you aren't having fun then you wouldn't want to keep hanging out and its not like we were throwing money everywhere. We were having a blast enjoying eachothers company and it just worked out that he was connected out there. All I can say is that the business part of the deal which was at least Wednesday with the b1g1 and Thursday at TAO even was handled honestly and professionally.
