The real one's from the actual island off of Europe, not those Notre Dame people.

Been to Vegas once before in 05 when I was a poor student. Had fun, stayed in the Rio and hit the Voodoo Lounge and Studio 54 but always said i'd have to go back when I actually had some money.

Well now I have some cash to splash and myself and a group of 10 guys are going over in January. Got a deal to stay in the MGM Signature arrive Wednesday, check out Sunday.

As the master of ceremonies it's up to me to organise stuff like airport transfers, strip clubs, nightclub entrance etc.

Saw some folks were recommending Presidential Limo's for airport transfers. Any suggestions on strip club deals?

Also tipping kinda freaks me out. I know it's strange for Americans to understand but it just doesn't happen to often in Europe. I've read the tipping guide here but i'm nervous about under or ridiculously over tipping.

well even tho you drunkards couldnt hold the jock strap of ND :D j/k I think they will welcome you to sin city!! Im sure you guys will have a great time, but the reality is that you will have to be willing to drop some cash in order to have a GREAT time....your gonna have to get tables if you want to go to nightclubs (even tho jan might be a little slower than other months) but as long as everyone kicks in $20 each the tip will be covered for the host.
as for the stripclubs, call them when youre in town and tell them you want to go there and they will send a limo for free to get you and then waive your covers and set you up with a table, the stripclubs will be the easiest thing to accomplish, welcome aboard my irish brother.....hope we can help!

It sorta freaked me out for my first few trips over here. Really took me a while after I lived here to get use to. A lot of the jobs over here pay so little that the tips is really what makes up the majority of salary of that person. I just think of it that everything would cost more over here if they weren't a tipping culture as they would have to make those wages and pass the cost onto us customers.

The hardest part for me was getting use to tipping in bars/nightclubs, while I would do it back in ireland it was no where as expected and required as here or too as many people. I till I got over here and went to vegas, I have never thought of tipping a bouncer...

The bit that gets me still is the fact that a lot of my friends tip automatically, where I still sit on I tip for the service and if you give me a bad service it is going to be directly reflected in the Tip. I am a 20% man as standard that can both go up and down. Treat me like I am worthless, as thats what I will be to you, treat me like a rockstar and I will take care of you :)

Cheers for the responses guys. I'll be frequenting the site over the coming months and hopefully will have a sufficiently wild tale to tell on our return.
