Aight here it is due to popular demand

My 2 week trip started in LA landing at 930am and picking up a jeep convertible and driving straight to the angels v yankees game. This was a hot day, full house and my first time in America.

We got there in the 2nd innings and sat down for about 2 minutes before buying some hot dogs, peanuts and beers. I bought a cool angels hat, sat down for about 20 minutes and left in the 6th innings. I didnt see much baseball but it was a good experience anyway. We stayed in hollywood and the next 3 days in LA were filled with alot of alchohol at saddle ranch, universal studios, farmers market, wallmart in crenshaw lol and shopping at beverly centre.

I managed to miss out on the hollywood sign, didnt see a beach and never drove through the ghetto.

Day 4 we woke up and took off for vegas. Expecting hot weather we spent an hour putting the roof back on the jeep so we didnt die in the heat. The drive was good we took a shortcut and after a few wrong turns were on the highway to vegas. Im not sure how many routes are on the way to vegas but we didnt see the mirage waterslide, route66 or the xxyyzz street sign.. oh well.

Half way down we stopped to get petrol and ate at karls jnr.. Yum.. I had a burger with onion rings and fried zucchini which was pretty nice..

Anyway back on the road which was pretty smooth going we ended up in vegas about 11am. Before stopping off at the hotel we decided to cruise up the strip and take some photos. It was such a nice day so we made it all the way up to circus circus and decided to go check out hard rock.

Once we finally found hard rock it was really nice although shocked at the small size of the casino. We checked in, checked out our rooms, relaxed and went to check out the place.

The first thing i did was to put a dollar in wheel of fortune (started small) and lost. bummer. Next machine was deal or no deal and stuck 20 in and got 5 of something on max bet and won the 868 dollar link woo! I decided to take a break and check out the pool after that win.

The pool is really nice and it was so hot. We gambled a bit outsie next to the bar with the bikini dealers and went for a swim, had a drink and hung out.

Now I have no recollection on what days i did what as they all merged into one but the first 3 days we did not leave the hard rock. Majority of our time was drinkiing, gambling and swimming. The 800 i won turned into 1200 and within 16 hours of non stop gambling (blakjack and texas holdem table game) was back to even lol.

The gambling thing 12 hours a day kind of didnt stop the whole holiday so i wont bore you guys too much with it same with the drinking.

Day 2 we met some people in the pool and were meeting them at new york new york that night.. Well that happened to be the day I got so drunk i couldnt walk. All I rememeber is hopping into a cab, being at nyny, eating one mutha of a pizza and then waking up the next morning.

On the friday day 3 we went to ditch and met up with nassau and dnix and the rest of the guys which was pretty cool. We went back to hard rock, got changed and went back to palms for the night stuff. We ended up in rain, at playboy club, moon and ghost bar which were all pretty cool.

Sunday morning we were checking out of hard rock and got our wrist bands for rehab. Not really in any state for pool partys i checked it out and sold the wrist bands for 50 each to someone dying to get in.

The rooms were nice at hard rock with a nice big open door, modern carpet, modern bathrooms and a plasma. I loved the hotel so much. The food was nice although i didnt like having to wait 15 minutes for food when i just finished a massive gambling session.

Next stop was a week at the MGM. After waiting 2 hours to check in, we finally got into our "bungalow suite" which was old, small tvs, windows which didnt open and poor air conditioning but it was ok. the deal came with unlimited buffet so that made up for it.

The mgm is huge and i wouldnt styay there again. It is just too big and too easy to get lost and to walk from the elevator to the studio walk is 10 minutes or so however my best favourtie food was at the pizza shop next to mcdonalds. omg i ate there everyday 2 times a day.

A slice of pepperoni pizza and a servings of hot wings and ranch. I had so many wings and so much pizza I ended up with an extra 12 pounds on me after 2 weeks lol.

Theres not much else to say about MGM except I played alot of blakjack and was no9t impressed with the high table limits although i ended up playing 50 a hand for the week i was there.

I checked out most casinos except for mandalay and mirage and never made it to grand canyon, to any shows or off strip.

However I did check out the mall south of manadalay with all those factory outlets which was ok. I walked all the way from MGM to circus circus and spent most my time at PH, MGM, NYNY.

I noticed that the majority of women have boob jobs and every girl i spoke to seemed to be a hooker but thats another story for another time.

I did check out the top of the eiffel tower at paris which was nice, I played games at circus circus and excalibur, drank and huge ass drink from the markets in the middle of the strip which had 18 shots in it and ate alot of food.

My best meal would have been the xxxl fat burger with xtra cheese and a side of chilli cheese fries and onion rings and a banana shake to go with it. Man that was filling. My second best meal was the hot dog I had at rio. Damn half pound foot long hot dog with melted cheese was amazing.

I also had a mcgriddle which was pretty crazy too.

All in all it was a fun trip. It cost me 3000 to book and pay for car, hotels etc and i had a 3000us budget. I blew through that and blew through another 5000us on top lol but that was all in my contingency anyway so its all good.

Theres probably alot more but check out the pics here. There is a few random work pics but theres some good ones too. Please note this is the edited photo album

thanks for eveyone who answered my questions before its a great community and the meetup was pretty cool.

The only thing I forgot to mention was the comp dollars we earnt. Between me and friend we had about 500 worth of comp money and we had prepaid our hotel so we couldnt do that, we had free buffet so couldnt pay that and didnt want to see any shows so couldnt use it there either.

We ended up with several huge room service meals with the last one being at 6am on our last day we ordered some 8oz steaks and lobster tails, burritos, choc sundaes, milkshakes and chips and sodas which came out at around 180us.. Even when we checked out we ended up with 200 left over I guess I can use it next time!

Great work mate, sounds like you have a pretty wicked time! Glad the Hard Rock was good, I'm staying there in a few week's time. One question - is the construction work still going on, if so did it affect your stay at all?

I wrote this last week about the Gun Store#
The place you need to go is the originally named. The Gun Store. I went there in May with my my mate on a sun afternoon with a hangover that only Tryst can do to you.
Like your self I am not allowed to shoot guns back home in Wales so I was really looking forward to living my shooting dream.
After walking in and signing my life away I got to choose the guns I wanted to play with.
Full Autos
Sniper Rifles
Shotguns
Handguns

I went for the Berretta 92F same as Mel Gibson used in Lethal Weapon.
So it all went well until you had to talk to the staff of this place. The rudest wankers you have ever met. They all think they are some sort of SAS / Riot cop.

However don’t let that put you off. I had a blast.

Make sure you shoot the Desert Eagle.
O and take loads of cash its not cheap.

Great stuff, cheers mate. I've been looking at www.thegunstorelasvegas.com is that one you visited?

Looking forward to it though, do you think you need to book or do you just rock up with the shakey hands-blurred vision hangover?

Ah nice! So you were at Angels stadium.. I live about 15 mins from there. Its one of the best games to go to the whole season since the fans actually get pretty worked up to the level of the yankee fans :)

That is true! But Boston fans in Anaheim are more ruly then NY Yankee fans. Yanks always want to fight anyone that says the Yankee sucks. Atleast theres more free seats to go around by the 3rd inning :)

Speaking of which I gotta collect $ for the fantasy football league. Everyone is lagging.. Our live draft right before LDW should be off the hook. We booked a ESPN Sports zone suite in Anaheim with F&B minimum.

Thats awesome. I always wanted to have a fantasy draft actually in a room with everyone together. Never happens though because all the guys i play with are around the country. Rule is if the money isnt in a week before the draft your booted for someone else.

Just for the record, here are the rules. Wearing a Yankees cap is acceptable only under the following circumstances:

1. You were born/raised in the tri-state area
2. You are a direct descendant of #1
3. You are an East Coast rapper

If you are a foreign national, wearing a Yankees cap is never acceptable under any circumstances. Wearing a Phillies cap, on the other hand, is always acceptable.

EDIT: Co-sign on being ready for football to start. It'll be nice to watch games that don't get cancelled because of rain.
