What a fu--ing trip! I am so screwed up here at home today that it is not funny. Typing this out is making my brain actually hurt. I will do a day by day rundown of what we did. We met some fantastic people from Toronto, Israel, Australia, New Zealand and of course California.

I will include a flickr link for each day. The players are me (guy with the goatie), my lovely wife (blonde), sister in law (dark hair), boyfriend/fiancee (dark spiked hair).

7/30

Arrived at the airport about an hour and a half early so we decided to have a bite and a few drinks. We went to TGIF at Detroit Metro which was very good. We had a nice quick dinner and about 2 long islands each. We head to our gate and our flight is delayed by one hour :eek: I knew this would screw things up and I was right. So we then head on down to Champps bar and grille and proceed to consume 4 lemon drop shots each. At this point we are feeling more than good. A great way to start the trip off. Our flight takes off at 930 and we arrive in Vegas at 1030. I had a table at tryst through Patrick Frank. I texted him at let him know the situation he said if we could make it there by 1130 I would be ok.

We pick up our bags and head off to the limo. Check in to our 2 bedroom penthouse suite at the mirage which I thought was very nice. The room did need some updating and so did the furniture but overall a great suite for partying. By this time its past 1130 and Patrick texts me and says that the club is saturated and all the table are gone. He said to come by and that he would try to hook me up. By the time my sister in law gets ready it is now 1230. She was driving me nuts. Our buddy David came by the suite and off we went to Tryst.

The line is a total cluster fuc-. I text Patrick and he promtly calls me back. He apologizes that the tables are gone but I told him that I understand. I give him a hundie and he lets us all in including 2 more of Davids friends. He says that if a table opens up that he would give me a text. We hang out in the club for about 45 minutes. NO where to move, no where to hang. Honestly, not having a table sucks. So we proceed to walk by some of the tables and it was like a miracle from God some guys looks at us and says hey do u want to bye my table for $40. I said hell ya! He wanted the money right away but I told him that I would have to clear it with the waitress. The waitress says it was ok and the transaction was consumated. The best $40 that I spent. We were having an awesome time dancing mingling etc... Met some people from New Zealand, our table was next to Floyd Merriweather and met some crazy dancing girl from Cali. We also had a birthday cake for my birthday and my SILs. We shut the place down and go back to the suite. The plan is to go to Drais.

We get back to the suite to have a couple more drinks. The crazy dancing girl was with us???? My wife is totally inebriated at this point and wants to go to drais but physically is not capable. So we leave my wife in bed and we head out to drais. It must be about 6am at this point. I get a table with a bottle. Unfortunately the place is absolutely dead. A total bummer because I had wanted to got here for some time. Buying the bottle was a total waste. I had one or two drinks and I tell my SILs BF that I am leaving in order to take advantage of my wifes drunken stupor. I walk back to the Mirage at about 730am. Talk about feeling like a looser. In all a great start to the trip.:D

Friday 7/31

woke up at about 10:30am hungover as hell and hungry as hell. The wife is still out. I walk over to the other bedroom and I see 3 heads. Crazy dancer chick is sleeping inbetween the SIL and her BF. I think to myself WTF! I look out the window and see Mcdonalds. So I suit up and go down to the strip to catch something to eat because I am starving. I prefer burger king so I walked up and down the strip (Bills to Venetian) looking for a BK. I knew there was one somewhere but I just couldnt find it. So i walked back to Mcds and had a big mac and fries. I then walk to the new walgrrens at the venetian/palazzo and grab a large case of water and walk back to the Mirage. At this point I am thinking am I farking stupid. Im exhausted, dehydrated, hungover and I am walking all over the farking place in 107 degree weather.

I finally head back and everyone is up including crazy dancer chick (CDC). I guess they got a little wild in the other bedroom. My wife leaves the room and CDC shows me her ass and legs, Im like WTF! Not my kind of chick. Anyways everyone is draggin Ass. We were supposed to go to Ditch at the Palms and then to Moon but I called my host and switched my MOOn night to Saturday. We hit the Mirage buffet at about 330. It was just ok.

We decide that we are just going to have a casual night and walk the strip and bar hop. CDC keeps calling us and harrasing us about going out again. We are all nice ppl but come on. This chick just wont leave us alone. We get ready and head off to cheesecake factory. One of our favorite spots for huge portions and reasonable prices. She calls again and my SILs bf tells her to meet outside of Pure. We walk over an sure enough there she is. So we walk the strip from Bills to the Venetian going in and out of bars. It was ok but nothing too exciting. I need the energy of the music to get me going. We then walked over to the Mirage and hit Revolution. It was actually a nice little club. We shut the place down again. We meet a group of nice girls who are there for an Ohio state reunion and talk to them for a while. Of course crazy dancer girl is there and she walks up to our room with us. She keeps saying that she wants a threesome or a fivesome. The wives get a little pissed and tell her to buzz off.:eek: We then hit the sack

Saturday August 1st

Woke up at around 9am. Ordered a very nice room service breakfast. The plan was to be at Wet Republic at around 1130 for our large daybed ($750 f and b min). Of course we had texts all morning long from CDC. We did not respond and the harrassing finally stopped. We go downstairs and grab a cab. We get in the cab and I tell the driver that we are going to Wet at MGM. I ask if he can drop us off right at the Wet entrance. He says in a very rude tone that he doesnt know where that is so he is going to drop us off at the front of MGM. Recalling that MGM is huge and the walk would be about a mile I said if you cant drop us off at the correct entrance then let us out. The a-hole slams on the brakes and yells “then get out”. So we promtly get out and he squeels his breaks out of the Mirage. It was hilarious. Fortunately he had only moved 50 yards or so. The next cabbie was cool and brought us right to the Wet entrance.

Meet my hostess Rebecca Gannon and we are taken to our large daybed which was very nice. I make sure to get my wife an umbrella because she gets hives all over her body when exposed to heavy sun for extended periods of time. We order our bottle of Goose and have some pro pics taken. We promtly go in the pool to cool off. We are looking at our daybed from the pool and someone pulls the umbrella over to the daybed next to ours. I get out of the pool and explain in a nice tone that my wife needs the umbrella because of here potential hive situation. They were a really cool couple (him from Toronto and her from Israel) and we hit it off. We met all kinds of fun ppl in our area and the party was on. We also met this smoking hot blonde and her boyfriend. The party was definitely on. We ordered another bottle of Goose and seafood buckets for about 10 ppl. It was awesome and had a great time at Wet. I think I spent about $1700.

I invite our newly found friendsfrom Toronto to Moon and they agree. They also convinced us to go split a cabana with them at Rehab on Sunday. We said "hell ya" and the party was on. Left Wet at about 6pm and had a fabulous time.

Our new friends picked us up at around 1030pm at the mirage in his limo and off we went to Moon. Still without question our favorite club. Had an awesome both right on the terrace overlooking the strip. Had our favorite party assistant, Kristin, who made sure the liquor flowed. We had 2 bottles of Goose and a bottle of champagne. All on me. I tipped my host $250 and I think I tipped Kristin about $500-600 by the time the night was done. Had a great day... Some of the pics are us just acting goofy.

We were lucky that we werent robbed. I put all my valuable stuff in my safe. I dont think that she was a thief but more or less a mooch.

Woke up at at about 930am. Had to be a rehab at 1030 to checkin to our cabana. It was very difficult to say the least to get everyone up at that time. We made it but a few minutes late and it was no big deal. Hooked up with our host DC at the Hard Rock. He got us checked in and off we went to our cabana. I think it was cabana #45. It was off a little canal and was nicely secluded from all the craziness at the main pool. There was a great deal of partying in our area just not craziness. Had a great time and would do it all over again. Left at about 6pm.

Had a table for the Bank reserved for one bottle. My SIL had had enough and just crashed at the room. So it was Me, wifey and BIL. Got to the Bank and they told us that they only have 3 one bottle tables and that we would have to purchase 2 bottles. I passed given the fact that we had to leave for the airport at 9am the next day and that it was only 3 ppl. They let us in and said they would give me a ring when a table became available. Fortunately, the bank has several areas where you can rest your drink and just dance and thats what we did. We met 2 friends from our cabana day. Didnt stay late and left the club at about 1am then headed on over to cafe bellagio where we got some grub. Went back to the room and my wife and I had some birthday sex:D .

Well its my birthday and its time to leave. That sucks!! Who planned this trip? Oh it was me, dam!!! Had our birthday cake (my SIL bday is on 8/4) so we both celebrated. Hit the airport without a glitch and arrived to our front door at about 8pm. It was probably our best trip yet. Each one seems to get better and better. I am contemplating a trip for my wifes bday in early october but that is just too soon. Otherwise we will be back in the spring. Hope u all enjoyed the trip report.
