Hi guys, new guy here from Oz, name's Chris.
Been a long time avid fan of the forum and will be in LV late August on the way back from conference and hosting customers on the East Coast.
Will be travelling solo once I unload my customers and plan to let hair down in LV between the 20th and 25th August before chilling out in Hawaii for 10 days.
Any guidance for a single, Gen X guy, well in need of a vacation making a return trip to Vegas would be very well appreciated (haven't been there for 6 years and loved it last time).

Thanks NYC for the welcome!
To answer your question, probably all of the above. Its winter here now so the getting some sun is a priority. Other then that I pretty much enjoyed most of Vegas when last there so not too fussed as long as I don't waste anytime.
This is the first solo trip there though and am not sure how to make the most of that (even though it is by design as I want to enjoy the freedom of doing what I want when I want)....which places to hang out, how not to spend half the time standing in queues....
the fact that youre flying solo helps out alot, you will not have to wait on any lines if you just tell the doorman and hosts that youre by yourself they will def take care of you, so you should be able to accomplish whatever you want.

Thanks for that, yeah been reading the posts regularly and this has been a great help.
Haven't got to putting together an itinerary yet, and probably won't (unless advised otherwise) as part of the reason for flying solo was to do what I wanted as the mood took me.
welcome.......going solo you can get away with that. If I was solo I wouldnt get to a club till midnight. Id just hit a doorman up to get in. They generally wont milk you if your by yourself.

Thanks Dnix for the welcome.
I guess my biggest challenge is dealing with queues and doormen, never been a big fan of it when serious drinking time is going to waste.
If it was me, Id walk by about an hour before they open. Id walk up to a doormen, tell him Im solo, and what should I do to get in. More than likely hell give ya some direction, like come back at a certain time, and ask for him. Then take off to gamble or get dressed or whatever, until that time.
