Hey all, just found the JC site a few weeks back. My name is Rick and I live in Columbus, OH.

I've been to Vegas several times for "business". I'm planning a solo trip for mid-August with no business involved at all. So no worries about showing up for the seminar still half drunk working off 2 hours sleep. Not that I would be so irresponsible, I'm in my mid thirties after all and I've matured past that stuff...OK maybe not. But I will say it is a lot harder to get up the next morning than it was 10 years ago.

So far my only really interesting Vegas story was that Vince Vaughn came into Carmel and sat next to me at the bar. He was with Peter Billingsley (the shoot your eye out kid from A Christmas Story). Nice guys. Poor little bartender girl was so flustered she could barely talk. She may have even broken into a sweat. I'm sure it was because of me.

Anyway, greetings all. I hope I can add to some posts of interest every so often.

What a cool story-love Vince and that Christmas story kid...that's really awesome! I've only ever seen Paul Pierce (Celtic, he threw dollar bills, we caught one! And he shook my hand-I was such a cheeseball), Cedric Yardborough from Reno 911, and Shawn Marion (NBA player)....I'm always hoping to see someone cool or have an encounter like at a bar...
