Do you workout? LOL, I know, corny. But seriously, do you?

Last month I bought the Perfect Pushup and that got me motivated enough to start the P90X system. I haven't done the diet but I am mixing the workouts up and boy do they kick yout butt!

Loving' it!!

So what do you do to workout?

I'm out of shape at the moment but I can feel a difference already in the energy I have and the way my pants fit :D

P90x is awesome, I picked up a dumbell set from 25's to 55's, made my own pull up bar, picked up push up bars and set up the interlocking mats from costco for a 10' x 10' workout area in my garage. Great set up when I use it, haha!

Ps , u gotta take supplements

LOL yeah the wife wants me to lose the gut. It's the reason I don't goto the day pool parties :(

I need to cut more carbs out of my diet. Being Filipino I eat a ton of rice lol.

Hahahaha. I got the same problem I'm Mexican so I eat a bunch of rice too. I was reading the nutriton guide and it says it's good to eat carbs while doing p90x. Maybe the program only works if your slightly over weight. My waist has gone down but have not lost any pounds.

I actually have cut my calorie intake to 1500 a day, and by doing that you cut a boatload of carbs and grams of fat from the diet and Im down 25lbs from a week or 2 before memorial day weekend...I lose the wieght first then hit the gym to get lean

Nah kc you got to eat. I will say this if you are trying to drop some quick weight for let's say Vegas, do salads, fruits and water only for between 14-20 days before your trip. It works

I find that diet is more important than exercise, at least for me. I mean obviously if you need to lose a ton of weight, than hitting the gym is the way to go. I have recently starting working out with weights, but I mainly just watch what I eat. My staple foods are cereal, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, beans and brown rice. And of course, tons of water. Not too exciting, but hey, it works.

kc2vegas it's not easy at all. it sounds good but it does get rough. if you can do it for longer than that, then go for it. i did the fruit and salad, with water, hit the gym 2 times a day (substitute my lunch brake for cardio and abs sessions at the gym, and then after work). and it worked out very well for me. like dropping 25lbs in about a month..after trips. i usually eat bad after vacations and take the first week home to eat bad as well. then get back on my regimen the following week. so this week is a bad week but next week, im back on a mission.

I drink water, tea, coffee. That's it. Coffee may not be good for the guy trying to lose weight but, I'm not ;)

I've been doing light workouts at home lately, but for the last few years I've done nothing except chase after my damn kids. However I'm a real pain in the ass when it comes to food, so I'm in great health and have remained at a quite low bodyfat %

I run HITT 5 days a week (jog 2 mins, run 1 minute) for 30 minutes, and that's the bare basics. I haven't had a routine in awhile but I really want to start.

Good luck kc. just stay focused, and trust me you will see a difference. the day before i suggest that you just splurge. any and every thing that you want have it. because once you start, you are fully commited to it.

OK, for breakfast I limited myself to 1 hard boiled egg and water.

Going to go for a jog after I get off work and then do the Ab Ripper X DVD.

everyday mix up the breakfasts, do a hard boiled egg 2wice a week and 4 days a week have 2 low fat whole grain eggo waffles without syrup....the whole grain kick starts your metabolism and drink 1 gallon of water a day eat lots of fruits and veggies for snacks and alot of protein chicken and tuna and the weight will literally melt off with some exercise thrown in the mix.....anytime youre going to eat breads make sure it is whole wheat or whole grain very very important

also as important, or more, eat bread that is free of corn syrup and/or high fructose corn syrup. that ish is bad for you and many people believe it will make you gain weight.

all my bread is bakery-fresh and whole wheat :)
