I used to have the Verizon broadband plug in thing, which was freakin awesome, but at $50 a month I couldn't justify it. xtrmski03 06-23-2009, 09:11 AM My company pays for our phones but my colleague told me its only $7 more per month as long as you have the monthly data pack. Much cheaper than broadband and you can use while you're traveling as long as your phone has service (instead of paying at the hotel). I'm going to have to call. I am using my Pearl to tether and while not nearly as fast as my home wifi, it does the trick while I'm on the road or at the airport to browse the web. Highly recommend it and will definitely switch over once Verizon comes out with a 3G phone (other than shitty Storm currently available). |
